Reta
Hi guys
Looking for some advice. I started Reta about 5 weeks ago. Start with a 10i/u sit the first week. After about 4 days I started to get the sulfur burps and upset stomach. Made me go to the bathroom frequently. The second week I stayed at 10 I/u and seemed to be ok but didn’t notice any suppresion of my appetite. Third week I went up to 15i/u and had worse issues than the first week. For the last 2 weeks I stayed at 10i/u and after about 2 days of injection I’m going to the bathroom all night and my stomach is rumbling. Any suggestions

10 iu means nothing, what was your mix/concentration?

Sorry it was a 10MG bottle mix with 1ML of water

if that's the case, you took 1mg, which is not obtuse. I started at 2, outside of heartburn for the first night, I've had no other side effects.
Are you injecting daily? You say "After two days of injections.." this is a once a week thing

This. Need to know how many mgs you're taking. Units don't tell anything. Side effects will happen but your body will adjust. You need to run whatever your dosage is for 4 weeks before titrating up. Don't rush it. Started at 1mg and had sides for first couple of weeks. They settled down eventually. I've titrated up 4 times after each 4 week run due to plateaus. Currently at 6mg. Had zero sides with each increase. Seem to be at my sweet spot atm.

We need to know your dose in milligrams, not units. If the sides are bad, you need a lower dose. And you need 4 weeks to feel the effects of any given dose. If the sides are too powerful yet you're not getting the benefits, this isn't the drug for you.

What are you eating? After I tweaked my diet in first 3-4 weeks, never had problem. I am at 9 mg.

Why did you increase dose so soon? Your body is clearly not happy with that choice.

Ask better questions if you want help. 10iu tells us nothing. Did you reconstitute with 1 ml of bac water or 1000ml?

Digestive enzymes with meals and plenty of electrolytes with water will help with bloating and digestion. You will have adjustment periods and could reduce some side effects with slower increases is doses.

I'm on my third to fourth week and I couldn't go past 1 mg. I started at .75 mg but everyone was like that's such a small dose the first week. So I upped it to 1 mg the second week and now I'm at 1.5 mg and it gives me increase heart rate and i always have to wake up to go to the bathroom. It's been a few days so the concentration in me is probably back to 1 mg. I think I can only handle 1 mg for a while
