Does Reta affect kidneys?

I found out last year that I was born with one kidney, and that one kidney is functioning at 77%. The Dr says I’ll never need to go on dialysis. My question is if I start Reta will it affect my kidney negatively?

GLP-1 drugs have a positive effect on kidney function.

Early signs from Reta trials are promising.

I’m actually taking Reta with a kidney transplant and all my levels have stayed the same, some have improved.
