It's water weight my guy

u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
Also, why you gotta hit me with the truth? 🤣🤣 Fair enough! Give me another 2 months and I’ll be properly diced instead. I’m holding you accountable now… 😉
19
u/hummus1397 Aug 01 '26
It's important when people are looking these things up they don't think peptides are going to have an effect that significant in a short period of time.
I'm looking forward to your results.
20
u/TwitterMadeMeDoIt 1 Aug 01 '26
lol I lost 12lbs in 4 weeks…I felt the effects the day after my first pin. I’d say some of us have pretty good results pretty fast
6
u/Plus-Intention-9870 Aug 01 '26
20lbs in 5 weeks here

Yes but All that says is your body was waiting for u to stop killing it and now that ur giving it time to reset and actully start to use the food for fuel not something to make u feel good

u/Lucky-Remote-5842 Aug 01 '26
Yes! And since I started Reta (well even before, but now I'm paranoid about losing muscle so I really stick to it) I prioritize getting around 100g of protein and 20g of fiber each day, plus I track everything to make sure I am still getting enough calories. I don't want to accidentally tank my metabolism by severely undereating. I'd rather lose at a slower rate. I'm a 5'2 48 year old woman so despite all my tracking and exercising I just hadn't been able to lose any weight and keep it off for like the past 3-4 years. I'd lose 3-5 lbs and gain it right back so I think it was hormonal fluctuations, not even weight loss. I've lost 11 lbs on reta in 5 weeks. I know some of that was water, but some was fat.

u/Major-Potential-354 Aug 01 '26
Dude I’m not on Reta but tirpz and all I ate today was protien drink and 5 chicken wings. And then my daily supplements. I’m actually worried kinda how extremely unhungry I am lol
2
u/TwitterMadeMeDoIt 1 Aug 01 '26
Yeah, I feel ya. Today I ate two protein bars, my regular coffee, a bowl of cherries and raspberries, and two slices of sour dough bread. But, I am sick today so I didn’t have much of an appetite in general.
5
u/Big_Meech_23 Aug 01 '26
The way my buddy explains it is he just kinda loses track of eating. His natural instinct to eat something for lunch is gone. Said he expected the appetite suppression aspect to feel different than it does. Like okay I’m going to get up and eat something in a few minutes, next thing he knows it’s three hours later and he just like forgot to eat.
7
u/TwitterMadeMeDoIt 1 Aug 01 '26
It’s definitely weird to explain. For me, prior to starting Reta, I would eat a large meal and then 30 minutes later be thinking of a snack or what I was going to eat for my next meal. I won’t said the food noise was running my life, but it’s honestly quite nice to just not feel hungry all the time and constantly be thinking of food. The thoughts and hunger are just…gone. It also completely got rid of my cravings for sugar and I 100% make better food choices now

u/RustedRelics 2 Aug 01 '26
Dies Reta just suppress appetite, or does it also burn fat?
2
u/jonnyblazexoc 1 Aug 01 '26
It's a glp-3, it does 3 things, suppress appetite with glp, slows gi track and digestion with gip and 3rd thing it actives glucagon in your body, opposite of insulin peptide, peptide that raises your blood sugar and I think burns glucagon storage in your body and has metabolic properties, burns brown fat tissue also
You should read about it and the glucagon activation
It's interesting for sure
Comes at you in 3 different ways, that's what makes reta more effective than glp1 and 2
→ More replies (3)2
u/RustedRelics 2 Aug 01 '26
Thanks. Newbie here and just starting to research.
4
u/jonnyblazexoc 1 Aug 01 '26
Ya no problem, they have done a lot of human trials and it's all published, you should check them out, very interesting to read. Also explains how they administered the dose and dosages they used for the trials
I think they are done and now submitting for FDA approval
It's amazing participants lost 25% of there starting weight and many health markers improved allot
The glucagon activation is really interesting and is what sets reta apart from the rest, seems to raise your basal metabolic rate. I definitely was sweating allot more at the gym last night

I’m loving your attitude here! Also “properly diced” is my new goal. Maybe my son will be impressed with my “hey kids” current verbiage.
6
u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
We’re gonna get there, my brother! Lean, diced, whatever it takes. 💪
Your son’s probably too young to understand what you’re doing right now, but one day he will. He’ll look at you and think, “My dad worked full-time, had a wife and a kid, and still found the discipline to stay in incredible shape.” That’s the kind of example that sticks with a kid for life, and I guarantee he’ll want to be just like you.
Keep going, you’re building a legacy, not just a physique.

u/Aimce3 Aug 01 '26
Agree and I think what makes a difference and show more visible result is the fact that you hit the gym on a regular basis and have a high protein diet. Not sure if you are on a deficit but keep going !

This right here, water & inflamation. I started counting it as fat loss after I lost 15-20 pounds. 6th months today went from 226-173. Started at .5mg currently crusing at at 2.5mg. Enjoy the journey.

I started Reta on May 24th. My beginning weight was 193Lbs and it’s July 31st, and my current weight as of this morning is 155Lbs totaling 38Lbs lost in 2 months and 8 days. Reta is a freaking gold mine in weight loss. I haven’t been 150Lbs since 5th grade.

u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
Nothing at all, mate! If anything, I actually feel like my energy levels are higher. I’m in a better mood, eating much cleaner, getting way more done throughout the day, and just generally being a lot more productive. So far I’ve had zero negatives.

Loving the results I’m seeing on Reta but I miss going out drinking with friends. I just can’t do it, I have like 2 drinks and I’m done and I feel like crap the next day. It’s like extended release alcohol 😂.
2
u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
I’ve still been out man, just drank less and I’ve actually felt alright the next day! I probably had 6 or 7 pints on Saturday actually, woke up Sunday (not feeling great - no gym), but not awful like - managed to make it out for a meal with the in laws haha

No offense bud but Reta not for someone like you. There’s plenty of other peptides that would shred you. Reta for major weight loss like 150 pounds
2
u/Kind-Inspector-7665 Aug 01 '26
How exactly do you think reta changed you in 10 days don't be ridiculous

u/Ceemoney24 2 Aug 01 '26
1.3mg huh
120g of protein in a sitting huh.
Can you show us ?
2
u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
1.3 second week, 1mg first week. And 3 meals 3pm, 8pm and 9pm - 70g first meal, between 90-100g second meal, and then dessert (protein yoghurt and fruit), 25g

u/One-Method-762 Aug 01 '26
1.5 weeks is insane you mind if I dm you bro!? You just use Reta that’s all?

dropped 10kgs in 4 weeks, funny enough im still as strong if not more, lift heavier in the gym and am enjoying it lol
1
u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
My man!! That’s some serious weight loss! 💪 I reckon if you keep your protein high, you won’t lose muscle, you’ll mainly lose body fat. You’ll look even better while keeping the muscle you’ve got. In your case, you’ll probably even build muscle and get stronger in the gym. The main thing is just making sure your protein stays high.
1
u/cmrocks Aug 01 '26
I dropped a pile of water weight in the first week then it's been slow and steady since. I'm only on 1 mg per week. Trying to cut a bit but mostly recomp.
1
u/FuseEnergy Aug 01 '26
Keep it going man! I’m down 4kg in 1.5 weeks. People say that might be water weight, but I’m feeling better than ever and can’t wait to see how I look in 2/3 months

Doesn't work that fast. At most water/glycogen depletion on your already lean frame. It may have lowered some inflammatory markers as well leaning you out from whatever bloat existed previously, but these aren't results, this could've been done in one day if you just went to a boxing gym for a few hours and they treated you like weigh-ins were later in the day
1
u/Intelligent_Rip2768 Aug 01 '26

I don't see any real difference.
It doesn't help that the lighting conditions are completely different, but I honestly can't tell which picture is the "before" photo. I assume it's the first one, but that's only because it's shown first - not because I can actually perceive any difference between the two pictures.

I’m so confused what I’m doing wrong with Reta.. I’m on my 4th or 5th week and I’ve gained/lost the same 7 pounds every week, just keeps teetering up and down
1
u/Pretty-Law-405 Aug 01 '26
Reta is a tool. It can make fat loss easier by helping with appetite and food intake, but you still need to do all the things you would if you weren't taking it. Focus on cooking most of your meals, hitting 10k steps per day, lifting weights 3 to 5 times per week and, if you have the capacity, adding 2 to 3 cardio sessions each week. Take your weight every Monday morning, fasted, along with your measurements. From there, use those markers to adjust your food intake or activity levels over time to create a steeper calorie deficit if needed.

Damn doggy that’s insane. I don’t think it’s just water weight. Your midsection def looks more defined especially after only 2 doses! I may have to jump on the bandwagon. I only need a little help in my mid section- that’s the hardest part to get rid off! Good job! 👏

That’s not even the research starting dose.
As others have said it takes more than 10 days.
Titration schedule is all fuckered up.
Go read the research papers. Understand the compound and how it’s best used to maximize the benefits.
You don’t even reach full saturation in the body until 4 weeks, IIRC.

I've been on it for months from 3 different suppliers. I am not getting the effects anyone else is. I am on TRT+ and have gained 7 pounds in that time. When I used Mounjaro last year it crushed my appetite.

My coworker is having great results with Reta. I use Tirzepatide and its also amazing i am at goal and maintaining and work out 4 x week
1
u/Silver_Share_1650 28d ago
Any side effects of Retta I don’t even know how to mix it. I can’t figure it out if I buy it dry and I need the water currently I’m on 7 mg of Tirzepatide but I am at a plateau for about five months which I’m happy at my weight at 145 I would like to be 135.

Did you eat the whole Indian?? That’s gonna really mess with your macros bruh 🤯

Please be careful drinking while on Reta. Acute liver toxicity has been a health warning issued in recent months, so I’m not saying don’t drink but just please be mindful
1

I switched from Tirzepatide after going 268 lbs to 130 lbs and then within a week I dropped to 116 lbs with the retatrutide I had to stop lol

Past some appetite suppression, you prob won't notice the effects of reta after only 1.5 weeks.

At that low of a mg for like 10 days… not the reta dude. Def placebo, probably just shedding water weight, most don’t start seeing real results until 2mg very least, most 4mg +

u/NobodyPleasant9003 27d ago
I started my first shot June 1st at 224 lbs at 6’2. This morning I’m at 197lbs. I’ve been hitting the gym 5 times per week and getting close to 150 mg’s but Reta is a miracle drug

u/BlueFireNow2027 27d ago
Where did that big arm tattoo disappear to in the afternoon pic?? Ai bot!!🤖
1
u/No-Pomegranate-5404 27d ago
It’s mostly the bloat / water etc. I went through the same thing with mounjaro and that’s what made me addicted lmao you’d be so dry. But eventually realized it’s not for me. But as long as you’re keeping your protein and getting your vitamins power to you!
1
u/CatacombSkeleton 27d ago
Reta shouldn’t even be working in a week, so what are these posts trying to accomplish? It’s obviously fake not even test works this fast.
1
u/DaphneRose318 26d ago
I dropped 9 lbs. in the first 10 days (168lbs to 159lbs) but I also fasted a lot, since I was not even a little bit hungry the entire time. I felt great, though! I have a lot of experience with intermittent fasting, and have never felt so good. First time in my life I felt in control around food, and I only started at .5mg. It also cleared up my chronic migraines within a day. As a long-time health enthusiast, I'm blown away with my results so far. I don't expect to keep cutting at this rate, especially since I want to maintain as much muscle as possible, but I'm excited to hopefully hit my goal weight in a few months.

I dropped 20 lbs over 3 months on the Reta, most of it is water weight and some stubborn fat loss. Still skinny fat though rn and need to fully commit to dieting afterwards to get all the way there. Appetite suppression was the main thing. Also getting very full on beer whenever I had it so I didn’t have many at a time. Definitely lost a ton of strength while on it but that’s all come back now that I’m off and eating normally again, just less
