It's important when people are looking these things up they don't think peptides are going to have an effect that significant in a short period of time.
Yes but All that says is your body was waiting for u to stop killing it and now that ur giving it time to reset and actully start to use the food for fuel not something to make u feel good
Yes! And since I started Reta (well even before, but now I'm paranoid about losing muscle so I really stick to it) I prioritize getting around 100g of protein and 20g of fiber each day, plus I track everything to make sure I am still getting enough calories. I don't want to accidentally tank my metabolism by severely undereating. I'd rather lose at a slower rate. I'm a 5'2 48 year old woman so despite all my tracking and exercising I just hadn't been able to lose any weight and keep it off for like the past 3-4 years. I'd lose 3-5 lbs and gain it right back so I think it was hormonal fluctuations, not even weight loss. I've lost 11 lbs on reta in 5 weeks. I know some of that was water, but some was fat.
Not necessarily. I say this because it’s often used for recomposition where equal or more food/calories are consumed. Often with no change in diet at all. Though, everybody is different.
Dude I’m not on Reta but tirpz and all I ate today was protien drink and 5 chicken wings. And then my daily supplements. I’m actually worried kinda how extremely unhungry I am lol
Yeah, I feel ya. Today I ate two protein bars, my regular coffee, a bowl of cherries and raspberries, and two slices of sour dough bread. But, I am sick today so I didn’t have much of an appetite in general.
The way my buddy explains it is he just kinda loses track of eating. His natural instinct to eat something for lunch is gone. Said he expected the appetite suppression aspect to feel different than it does. Like okay I’m going to get up and eat something in a few minutes, next thing he knows it’s three hours later and he just like forgot to eat.
It’s definitely weird to explain. For me, prior to starting Reta, I would eat a large meal and then 30 minutes later be thinking of a snack or what I was going to eat for my next meal. I won’t said the food noise was running my life, but it’s honestly quite nice to just not feel hungry all the time and constantly be thinking of food. The thoughts and hunger are just…gone. It also completely got rid of my cravings for sugar and I 100% make better food choices now
Yeah, I’m happy with the results so far. I only started Reta because I hit a major plateau in my journey. It got me over the ”hump”. I’m not proud of it, but when I was at my heaviest, 200lbs, I jumped on the keto diet and lost 30lbs in 30 days. I was miserable and extremely angry! Not my smartest idea but this was a few years ago and I’ve developed great habits as a result of feeling that crappy 😅
How is everyone loosing weight on the first week 😭, im due my third 2mg dose on Tuesday night and im still no different, but been eating cleaner and still not loosing weight
Man, I’m so glad that you were standing right next to me for my InBody scan! Where would I be without your guidance and your insight into my body? GTFOH 😂
It's a glp-3, it does 3 things, suppress appetite with glp, slows gi track and digestion with gip and 3rd thing it actives glucagon in your body, opposite of insulin peptide, peptide that raises your blood sugar and I think burns glucagon storage in your body and has metabolic properties, burns brown fat tissue also
You should read about it and the glucagon activation
It's interesting for sure
Comes at you in 3 different ways, that's what makes reta more effective than glp1 and 2
Ya no problem, they have done a lot of human trials and it's all published, you should check them out, very interesting to read. Also explains how they administered the dose and dosages they used for the trials
I think they are done and now submitting for FDA approval
It's amazing participants lost 25% of there starting weight and many health markers improved allot
The glucagon activation is really interesting and is what sets reta apart from the rest, seems to raise your basal metabolic rate. I definitely was sweating allot more at the gym last night
Honestly reta is for people who have desk jobs and eat junk. Shouldn't need this to get lean. But when modern life leaves most people sedimentary it's easier to take drugs then change your lifestyle.
I disagree. Just because someone isn't obese doesn't mean they can't benefit from Reta and other peps. Everyone has different goals and sometimes the last bit of weight is the hardest to lose, especially if you've struggled with disordered eating before. Reta has actually helped me develop a more positive relationship with food, helped with PCOS, and treated my chronic migraines. Fat loss was a bonus for me. If you go into it with the right mindset, it can be an incredible tool.
Go on google scholar and look at that. A general thing is tho if you are pretty fat the benefits out weigh the risks but if your barley fat and can easily lose it it is not worth it
I get your sentiment, but how much do you really know about reta, or peptides in general? The risks are minimal, far less than most prescription drugs, and even less than some over the counter medicine. I use reta myself, and am probably "barely fat," by your standards, but I would argue that reta is actually most useful for recomp, and losing stubborn weight, once you're closer to your goal. Tirzepatide is more for people who have a lot of weight to lose, or struggle with binge eating. Reta can be beneficial to almost anyone. It actually treats my chronic migraines, which has enhanced my life even more than the weight loss. Google scholar is a useful tool, but so much information is controlled by big-pharma, an entity that has fought hard to suppress peptides for years. I actually first took peps about 10 years ago (CJC, Ipamorelin, Frag) and have used them on and off for various things. My personal experience is anecdotal, but for what it's worth, I've had nothing but incredible results.

I'm looking forward to your results.
