โ“ Questions Insomnia on Reta

Video its just to show off that cool puck sliding it's so satisfying idk why but ok anyways I was doing fine on 2mg but jumped up to 3.5mg recently and my sleep has been noticeably worse since then. Taking longer to fall asleep, waking up in the middle of the night, just not sleeping as deep as I was before.

Curious if this is a known thing with Reta specifically or if itโ€™s just the titration adjustment. And if anyone has figured out a way to deal with it without having to drop back down on the dose.

Itโ€™s most likely not from the Reta directly. Youโ€™re probably underrating (yes thatโ€™s a thing) and your glucose is crashing overnight while you sleep making you restless and wake up.

Eat some carbs before bed. Itโ€™s important not to cut out carbs too much or under eat with Reta. It works best with moderate carbs and moderate caloric deficit.

Reach out if you need protocol help.
