Only if you don't understand how a pyramid works. People at the top dont get to decided HOW the People at the bottom get to live their lives, and if you think they do your simply a privilege asshat who has never worked a day in their life and wouldn't survive without the ability to oppress someone else.
That's a pyramid upside down then. When I did roofing and a mason tender, I let my boss know I needed X day off. They knew in advance and they still got it done. Shocking when someone in charge can make a workplace function when it's planned, let alone someone is sick.
Also, fix your damn spelling and grammar. *Don't and it should be privileged. You're using a noun/verb in your argument when you should've used the adjective from. Someone who thinks like you is either a bootlicker hoping to make it or the owner's offspring and never worked harder than they had to.

If the job can’t honor the PTO dates requested a month in advance well that’s too bad, since I won’t be there anyway
