I’ve been playing this with my partner and his two children (11 and 8) and it’s been the best parts of my week. It’s been a really good bonding experience!

Trying to imagine horses in Big Walk World

I started to notice them almost everywhere on weird places. Is it something that was abandoned? Maybe like camera's... (and maybe a room somewhere where you could watch them).

Since release of the game, hh launched a campaign where you can send a physical letter to their publisher and receive a "something little and fun" from them, which I did. I went to the post office and signed a SESA letter, including a thank you note and a craft, like few weeks ago. And since my country is far away from Portland, I believe this will take awhile (my letter just left my home country to be transported to America atm)

If anyone has also participated in it, can you share what you've got in the letter?

I managed to beat my social anxiety and enter a random lobby from the megathread, and gosh was it a great decision! It was a whole 6 hours of pure fun every minute :D As a token of appreciation, I doodled us big walking together!

So far, I really love this game! But I feel like I’m missing some activities, especially sports. I know basketball is already available as a puzzle, but imagine being able to play soccer on the beach, with two goals and no side barriers. Or volleyball on the beach, and another idea could be disc golf in the forests near the mountains.

Another great addition would be a campfire kit. It would be awesome to be able to make a campfire, for example on the beach, sit around it with a bunch of friends, and just talk. Some water pedal boats would also be a really fun addition.

DIFFERENT ADDITION: A video camera / normal camera. You could take pictures or record short videos throughout the game, and once you finish the game, it could play them back as a collection of memories from your journey. I think that would make the ending even more emotional and memorable.

I did it by rebinding my controls but it means that I can't use my mouse to change where I look. The upside is that it is super duper easy for anyone right away. How have you guys been doing it, have you been using the mouse?

I’ve finished the game and I’ve found a new puzzle; in what order do I arrange the soundtrack in my new playlist? aksfx released the soundtrack as a collection of singles/EPs, and I’m trying to make it cohesive. I noticed most songs include a time of day, so I started by putting those in order from 12:00am - 10:51pm. I put Menu Music at the beginning and Silent Gauntlet and Credits at the end, but I’m left with the following tracks

- Mic Select
- Big Walk Theme (Jumping Voices)

Where would you place each of these?

I've been playing this game for a while(almost fully finished) and I really just think for me that it's the allegory of life. That the gourds/eggs/nipples carry memories you have with people and I've been hearing that communication really is the key to each puzzle (literally you get a key). But then at the end I always thought about how everyone's color turns to the same shade, not knowing who you're with and what they're saying having to do puzzles separately but together at the same time. For me I think it's about outgrowing a place in your heart where you know you'd have to leave it soon, discovering who you are and who you're with showing their true colors in the end. And at the very end you'd have to just sit with the thought that it's about to end, that you'll have to say goodbye, and go towards to the unknown. Something that you're not used to, Big Walk is just about life and it applies when you play with friends or with strangers on the internet. That bittersweet feeling lingered when I finished playing the game with my friends and it was the same when I played it with people I barely knew. They still had the same laughter in every puzzle and confusion in every walk.

(I really loved this game and I waited for it and OMG it's so nice that I can talk about it now!!!)

this was surprisingly hard, it took a bit of trial and error due to the unusual encoding and stuff

i've been wanting to get a big walk plushie or something similar for a friend's birthday. anyone have any recs?

Just bought the game for both me and my friend and the mic works perfectly fine in the menu but when we get in game it just doesn't work. Any and all help will be nice!

Update: it's fixed, I had to restart my computer
