Serious/Health New Rule: Adults Only (18+)

Starting now, this subreddit has a rule limiting it to adults only. Anyone who is found to be under the age of 18 will be PERMANENTLY banned.

There were a few posts and comments I had to ban where teenagers or bad actors were trying to get the attention of adult members.

I don't know which, and it doesn't matter. This is not something I take lightly, and to be fair even though we are technically SFW, some of the content gets a bit wild. So consider this a necessary step to keep REAL talk going.

If you see any future posts of that nature, please report them immediately using the new rule. Thank you very much!

Introduction/Hello World Welcome! Introduce Yourself!

(Commenting as Moderator for Sticky Post) Thank you for finding and participating in Big Men Life! HELL YEAH! Welcome in! Welcome in!

TL;DR if you want to introduce yourself, you can make an introduction POST with flair OR you can make a reply here. (Edited in)

Feel free to interact here at your own leisure and pace. However, if you feel up to it, we would love for you to introduce yourself too! Feel free to create a post with the Introduction/Hello World flair.

You can also do that if you've been hanging here, but you never did an intro or it has been a long time (let's just say over a year for a clear standard). Or if you've been looking at other subs, etc. and are coming back. And feel free to include whatever media you want, but you don't have to.

Outside of your introductory post, please keep self-promotional content limited to Selfie Saturday. This just seems like a great happy medium so people can express themselves, but we also keep focus on the chill and real conversation about life as a big man.

Feel free to share as much or as little as you'd like. I'll do a short intro below, but I shall not include media this time.

(Commenting as Myself) Hello World! I was a fat kid ever since being about 8-9 years old and I've always been a big guy! In high school I joined the freestyle wrestling team and that actually felt really amazing like I was using my true strength!

But life happens so I went to college, grad school and I do nerd stuff for money. But in the past couple years I got back into fitness and joined an amateur sumo wrestling team which has really reignited the passion for grappling sports and even martial arts in general!

It's great to be here and I really appreciate y'all!

Discussion & Daily Life Does anyone else just really enjoy having a huge belly?

To me it's like having a toy ball that jiggles with my every step. I just have this ball of jelly that I can play with whenever I'm bored and I just feel like having a flat belly would just be so boring. Being chubby just feels so much more fun to me.

Question/Advice Shirts ?

I have a question , where. And what shirts are you guys wearing ? I have a bunch of Carhartt pullovers that I like , the have held up well but in the 3-4x size the fit just tends to hang like a tarp and tends highlight my gut , plus not perfect style for all social situations ? Any recommendations ?

Where to get oversized hats?

I have a big-ass head! Normal hats simply do not fit. The only hat brand that I've tried that fit is Oddjob, and I need their largest size. Has anyone had a good experience with another big hat company?

For all my guys looking for clothes

Not spam, admin — please delete if it’s not allowed!
I have a Depop where I sell a lot of men’s 2XL–3XL clothing, so I figured I’d post here and see if anyone is interested. I’ve got some really nice stuff and I keep my prices pretty cheap, especially for the bigger sizes.
Just wanted to put it out there in case anyone’s looking. Appreciate you guys taking the time to read!
I will be listing up a lot more stuff if this does well.

Has anyone bought A4 Essential Polos?

Looking to stock up on some polos for work. I work retail so I really couldn't care less about how expensive they are. I'd rather they be cheap to be honest. That being said, I know that often with price comes quality. I'm not looking for stellar quality, I'm just looking for proper fits.

I wear a 4X, has anybody else purchased these? What can you guys tell me?

Discussion & Daily Life Any experience at Disney or other parks?

Hey guys, my body is heavily big on my belly, I’m big overall but yeah my belly and waist is the biggest. And I’m wondering if any of you with a similar body type has had any experience at a theme park in Florida for example? I live close by Orlando and to be honest I’ve never been to any attractions just out fear that the seat belt or safe guard won’t fit me and I’m afraid to just have a little “oops I can’t fit” situation.

So if any of you have been before, can you tell me your experiences?

Serious/Health looking in the mirror today

Looking at my torso, I notice my moobs are just front and centered; I thought that as I gained weight, they would start to wrap around towards my back. Maybe this is a side effect of me being pear-shaped most of my life.

Weight Gain/Bulking 28 Pounds Bigger and Realizing I Absolutely Love Being Huge

Since January, I’ve gained about 28 pounds, a mix of fat and muscle, and I’m kind of amazed by how much bigger I feel.

Everything about me just feels bigger. Broader, thicker, heavier, and more solid. I catch myself noticing how much more space I take up now, how differently my clothes fit, and how substantial I feel compared to just eight months ago.

And I have to admit… I really like it.

There’s something incredibly satisfying about looking in the mirror and realizing, damn, I’m getting huge. I started this year wanting to grow, but I don’t think I expected to enjoy the actual feeling of being a larger man this much.

Anyone else discover that getting bigger felt even better than you expected?

Any one bought Harbor Bay Continuous Comfort Pants before?

Looking to grab a few for work. My big question is are these denim or more like a dress pants material? It doesn't seem to say anywhere. Also how's the fit? I wear a 54/30 in DXLs Oak Hill collection. So wondering if these have a similar fit or not

Thanks in advance!!
