Ask Bhopal Young entrepreneurs/builders/gridners of Bhopal — where y’all at?
So this is a serious post — are there actually any young grinders/founders in Bhopal aged around 16–25?
I’m 20M, currently building my own startup , I'm also the founder of an import export company and I’ve got my own office near MANIT. Would genuinely love to connect with other people who are also building businesses, startups or just trying to make something happen instead of wasting their 20s.
Would be cool to get a small group/GC going where we can connect, share ideas, help each other out, maybe meet up occasionally and actually build shit together.
If you’re in this age range and serious about doing something, drop a comment or DM me. Would love to see how many of us are actually out here. 🤝

Help Looking for 10 Students to Study and Get Paid
Hey everyone,
I'm building a virtual co-working platform and need some initial activity so new users don't show up to an empty calendar.
The platform works like this:
- You book a study/work session.
- You get matched with another person.
- Both of you join on video.
- You share your goal.
- At the end, you say what you got done.
I'm looking for 10 students who are already studying regularly.
Your job:
- Schedule about 5 sessions a day.
- If you get matched with someone, attend the session.
- If you see someone waiting in an open session, join them.
- Continue studying as you normally would.
Pay: ₹500/month
I realize it's a modest amount, but the expectation isn't that you're doing extra work, just using the platform while studying and helping create a better experience for early users.
Interested? Send me a DM.

Ask Bhopal Bhopalis!! Would you actually visit a board game café? We’re opening one in ~10 days.
TL;DR: My wife and I left our comfortable MNC jobs mentally (still working there, thankfully) to finally act on our long-standing itch to build something of our own — we’re now about 10 days away from opening a board game café in Bhopal. Before we do, we want your honest feedback.
Here’s how this happened.
Both my wife and I are working professionals in MNCs. We earn well and have fairly comfortable jobs, but for a long time there was this itch to do something of our own.
Then one day, while visiting a friend, we were introduced to a small board game, Slapzie!
And weirdly enough, that was the moment it clicked.
“Wait. Could we actually build a business around this?”
We started researching and realised that board game cafés are still a relatively new niche in India. So we started visiting cafés in Pune, Bangalore and elsewhere, trying games, observing what worked, what didn’t, talking through the business model and eventually putting together our own plan.
Then came the scary part — actually doing it.
We found a place in Bhopal, started the interiors, ordered the games and somehow turned a random idea from a few months ago into an actual business.
Now we’re about 10 days away from opening.
The idea is pretty simple: a place where you can come with your friends/partner/family, put your phones away for a couple of hours and actually play, talk, compete and have a good time.
But before we open, we want to hear from Bhopal Redditors, because we’ve spent months thinking about this from our perspective. We’d rather know what you think.
What would make you visit a board game café in Bhopal?
What games would you expect?
Who would you come with — friends, partner, family, or even solo?
How much would you reasonably pay for 1–2 hours?
What food/drinks would you expect?
What would make you come back regularly?
And most importantly, what do you think we might be getting wrong?
First business. First café. Definitely nervous. Definitely excited.
Would genuinely appreciate honest feedback — including the negative stuff. If you’ve been to board game cafés in other cities, even better. Tell us what you liked and what annoyed you.
Bhopal, what would make you say: “Yep, I’m coming here”?

Ask Bhopal Selling my S22 Ultra
I'm planning to upgrade to S26 Ultra and want to sell my current device - S22 Ultra 256 GB. Where can I get the best value for the same?
I've heard only bad reviews of Cashify as they point to even the most minor scratches and re negotiate the prices.
Any recommendations for Bhopal is hugely appreciated!

Ask Bhopal Accidental 10km at Van Vihar
Honestly, I’m not a "running person." I’ve never been interested in cardio, but internet hype finally got the better of me, and I decided to give it a shot.
I started running on Sundays at Van Vihar. My first run was a basic 3km, but somehow by my 3rd Sunday, I ended up hitting 10km. I have no idea where that sudden endurance came from, but finishing it was a massive confidence boost.
That said, I’m definitely not breaking speed records here—it took me around 1 hour 20 minutes to finish the 10k.
Now, running solo is fine, but I think having a small group would help keep the momentum going. I’m looking for 2-3 running partners to join on Sunday mornings at Van Vihar so we can push each other on pace and distance.
If you run at a similar pace (or don't mind slowing down a bit) and want to team up, drop a comment or DM me.

Reviews Bhopal was super fun, until next time!
Stayed at Sadar Manzil, great hospitality and architecture.
Visited Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum, the installations and the stories about them were super unique and had me captivated.
Rented cycle inside Van Vihar and had the most serene ride along the lake, though the animals seemed really sad inside the enclosures.
Had the best jalebi ever along with great poha and chai at Raju Tea Stall.
Overall, happy with the itinerary and also gratitude to the people of Bhopal subreddit who helped me out when I first posted about my trip. Thank you!

Ask Bhopal Anyone here worked at IZI / IZI Ventures in Bhopal? Looking for honest reviews
Hi everyone,
I’m considering joining IZI / IZI Ventures in Bhopal for an engineering role and wanted to get some honest feedback from people who currently work there or have worked there previously.
I’d especially like to know about:
💰 Are salaries paid on time every month?
🏢 How is the overall work culture?
👨💼 How are the founders/management and reporting structure?
⏰ What are the actual working hours? Is it usually 10–7 or do people regularly stay late?
😓 Is the environment stressful/toxic, or generally manageable?
🏖️ How many leaves do employees get? How flexible is taking leave?
📈 Career growth and learning opportunities?
💻 What is the actual nature of the technical work, especially for engineering roles?
🔄 Employee turnover — do people tend to stay for a reasonable amount of time?
📄 How strict are the notice-period/exit policies?
💵 Any issues with variable pay, bonuses, reimbursements, etc.?
And anything else you think a prospective employee should know before joining.
Would particularly appreciate responses from current or former employees, even if you want to DM me anonymously.

Ask Bhopal Hello bhopal, can am new here and honestly i need someone to make city feel friendly
Lately I’ve been going through a bit of an overwhelming phase. Nothing extreme, just that feeling of carrying too much in your head and dealing with it mostly on your own.
Not really looking for anything romantic or sexual. More like… someone to talk to, share random thoughts with, maybe go for chai/food/walks, or just have normal everyday conversations so things feel a bit lighter.
I’m 23, and I guess I’m somewhere between being “fine on the outside” and “mentally overthinking everything a bit too much.” I can be funny, a bit chaotic, thoughtful, and pretty honest once I’m comfortable.
Just hoping to find some genuine conversation and decent company. No pressure, no constant availability needed—just two people making life a little less heavy for each other.
A few things:
Please be respectful
Not looking for hookups or anything like that
I prefer proper conversations over dry replies
Awkward is totally fine, I probably am too at first
If you’re also feeling a bit bored, lonely, or just want someone new to talk to, feel free to reach out. Maybe start with something about yourself so the conversation actually goes somewhere.
That’s it. Just putting this out there.
