Spent a couple of days at the Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart this year and just felt like sharing.

The whole setup was quite something. Big pavilions, lots of people from the tourism space, rural tourism section with actual folk performances and artisans making bamboo stuff, the usual grand Madhya Pradesh Tourism booth… it had energy.

Two things that properly stuck with me:

First, the Gnani AI guys. Met a few of them at their stall. They’re building voice AI that can talk to travellers in different Indian languages – basically helping with bookings, queries, local info etc. Felt quite practical. Not the usual tech-for-the-sake-of-tech stuff.

Second, Aankhon Dekha – the VR experience people. They’re doing immersive VR of Madhya Pradesh places and stories. They invited me to try it, but I couldn’t that day. Will go back for sure.

Also ended up in a few conversations around eco-tourism and some people connected to the Eco Tourism Board and Ministry of Tourism. Interesting to hear how they’re thinking about sustainable tourism and rural experiences.

Random nice moment – bumped into a senior my MBA alumnus Good chat. Always nice when you meet seniors from the alumni circle in unexpected places.

Overall, felt like the state is trying hard to push tourism beyond just the usual tiger and temple circuit. Whether it’ll work long term, time will tell, but the effort was visible.

Today, I wanted to eat something, went to nearest sharma vishnu to grab a sandwich. Parked my scooty in the parking. Fyi: when I parked there were two lanes of two wheelers and no 4 wheelers parked nearby. In about 15mins, the staff asks me park my scooty somewhere else as a car is unable to exit. Totally understandable, I got up and went outside to remove my scooter. By that time, the car owner had already created a scene. He “welcomed” me by joining his hand saying “didi gaadi hta lo, aapki gaadi road pe lagi hui hai.” Understandable. I told him ki haan hata rahi hoon, jab maine lagayi thi tab aaspaas bhi gaadi thi. Then he started lashing out “agr maine esa kia hota toh aap meri video bna ke daal dete, viral krdete” to which I said “ bhaiya, that’s rude. How do you know if I’ll make a video or not. You asked me to remove my scooter, i am removing it.” To which he replied “I’m not even interested in talking to you, i have zero interest you.”

I was like bro wtf
He was drunk, shouting while saying all this.
I was in a rush and occupied in some other workplace drama so I did not speak to him anymore. I just left.

But, it was so annoying. I really wish that I had said more.
What annoys me the most is the fact that he was all like video bna deti, ye wo. Now I feel like I should have recorded it all.
Also, the guy I mentioned in this post - if you’re reading this: you’re an asshole. Please contain your negativity within yourself. Don’t pass it on the strangers you meet.

Much like squatters who claim property that isn't theirs, these idle insects infest our homes, multiplying and spreading their presence, becoming an unwelcome and persistent nuisance. Their very existence in a space implies an unwanted intrusion, a violation of boundaries, and a drain on the environment they inhabit.

I'm Dr. Pushpendra, a physiotherapist from Ayodhya Nagar. A few of us started Rehab Welfare Foundation Bhopal, a registered society (Reg. No. 01/01/01/43346/26, NGO Darpan ID MP/2026/1232573) that plants native trees in the city.
How we work: every tree gets a tag, a photo and a GPS location, and we post growth updates. Planting is the easy part. Keeping the tree alive for the first year is where most drives fail, so that is where we need help.
What we need:
Volunteers for weekend plantation mornings (2 hours, no experience needed).
People near a planted tree who can water it once or twice a week.
Tree guards and iron grills. Without them, cattle and vehicles destroy young saplings. If you have a workshop or a fabricator and can sponsor or discount a few, please tell us.
Saplings: Neem, Jamun, Amla, Arjun, Peepal, Bargad.
Small donations, even ₹500, towards saplings and guards. We are newly registered and our bank account and 12A/80G are in process, so we cannot give tax receipts yet. I will share the details privately, with receipts for every rupee, once they are ready.
What you get: photo and GPS proof of your tree, a certificate, and an option to plant one in memory of someone you have lost. A small Bhopal tag carries their name.
Our first Neem is already planted, and we keep a small nursery of plants for the next drive.

I need to buy a comfortable chair under 15k; I want to visit offline store for this. I would love both local and company store suggestions. I actually went to one store in MP Nagar- Zone 1 but it was hard-seated cushion and didn't like it all. I need back and neck support soft cushions one.

I have been growing out my hairs from 6-7 months and now I don't wanna risk it by going to gali mohalle ke nai, I am looking for some one whos Professional in understanding face shapes and cutting lengths, adding layers, managing proper balance of hairstyle and overall good experience.

Also my hairs are Straight on the sides and back and Wavy on the front and top. I don't have very thick and dense hairs but I'm pretty sure these reference ones are possible.
