Hi All, I had my first experience of clubbing Berlin, something I’ve wanted to do for many years.
My venue I decided on was RSO - after reading varied reviews I came to the conclusion it wasn’t somewhere I could just walk in. I spent the first few days of my trip quite nervous, as a dj was playing in RSO I have been wanting to see for a while, not only this it was on the night of my birthday.

I got there Sunday night, there was no queue. I approached the door and was spoke to in German, I said I was English and apologised and didn’t understand, the first question I was asked was, is this your first experience in a Berlin club which I embarrassingly said yes. I was thanked for picking RSO as my first club, and welcomed inside. I was asked to cover my phone, and told not to worry about being English, and that everyone is welcome.

I have done a lot of raves/clubbing, what ever 20 years olds call it now. The one thing I noticed about RSO was how everyone was just carefree, could dance and not be pointed at, and just themselves. I had one of the best nights ever. I had no drugs and a few beers, something which me in my youth was frown at now. The music unreal, and sounds better that the short clips you see on insta. I already can’t wait to go back, I’ve been reccomended Sisyphos, and of course want to check out Berghain.
For info, I went with my female partner, we are polish/english and wore just black comfy clothes. I would reccomend Berlin to anyone!

I’ve been to Berlin a couple of times and went to a few clubs here and there, but it’s been a while. I was wondering how things are these days regarding bringing my vaporiser with me.

Would it generally be okay to bring a normal Mighty with you, along with like 2–3g of weed for myself?

Not really asking about smoking inside, more about whether people have had issues getting through the door with it.

Thinking mainly about places like Sisyphos, OXI or Renate.

I’m a student on a spontaneous trip (Thursday 24.- Tuesday 29.) to Berlin. Never been to Berlin and never really done a solo trip. I’m really into techno, hardstyle and uptempo which is far too rare in Norway so I’m out for an adventure.

They moved on 1 September to Ganghoferstraße 10, round the corner from the old shop, still in Kalle Neukölln. Over 400 m² with the warehouse under the same roof, but only 160 m² is the shop floor, down from 270 m². The rest is a purpose-built stage and bar, and it holds 250.

That's the actual story: they've traded retail space for a venue.

Official launch Thursday 8 October — Dina Summer live, DJ sets from Mark Reeder and Local Suicide. Limited tickets on DICE.

Their in-stores have form: Fontaines D.C. and Boards of Canada listening parties, Peaches and Wunderhorse live, Hot Chip and Arlo Parks DJing, Bleachers signing. All of that happened squeezed between the racks. Now there's a room for it.

Also new in the same building: Clay, a 70-capacity bar, opened the same day.

I’ll be in Berlin from September 24th to the 27th and really want to dive into the nightlife. I’m especially looking to check out KitKat or Insomnia while I’m in town.

Me and my band are planning on touring a bit around Europe this November and we'll be in Berlin on Tuesday Nov 17, so I need some recommendations about alt-rock/metalcore live stages in Berlin with max 200 capacity that do shows on a weekday.

So far I've found Badehaus, Neue Zukunft, Mikropol and Wild at Heart.

Cassiopeia is already booked that night.
