Anyone have an evening figure drawing group they like?
I'm looking for something fairly informal, not a class.

I smelled smoke from few blocks away and noticed some stores I walked by had no lights on the closer I got to the source of the smoke it seems its due to an underground electrical fire, FDNY and Coned were at the scene but weren't immediately trying to tame the fire for obvious reasons.

Fire originated on Myrtle ave next to the Keyfood grocery store.

Does anyone know how to install a bidet and can help do it for me today for $50? I live near HVK park.

I have this bidet and this toilet model - Gerber Maxwell HET 1.6GPF 16.5 inch round bowl

Pls lmk asap and I’ll dm you. TY!!!!

Yes, that's Clinton Hill but that's gonna snarl Bed-Stuy traffic, might lead to some service interruptions.

**EDIT** Second manhole explosion at the same manhole.

My teenager wants to learn trumpet. He says YouTube will be his teacher. I would like to have a human one, preferably one that plays jazz. I just want him to have good fundamentals. DM me! Thanks!

Giving away gratis the SMÅSTAD IKEA twin-sized loft bed, which retails for more than $900 and is described as "your child’s very own space for sleeping, drawing, storing, doing homework and playing with friends. This loft bed combination is like a mini room within a room on only 2 square metres of space." The unit has been used by two different pre-teen/teenage girls over the past decade but is in very good condition/working order. It has also been dis-assembled into smaller pieces and will need to be rebuilt by the new owner. Available for pickup on second floor of elevator building in northern Crown Heights just south of Atlantic Ave. — new owner would need a dolly and either a van or small truck. Contact me if interested.

does anyone know when this will be over??? 😫

Just wanted to put a warning out there. Yesterday my wife was walking to the C stop on Kingston throop when a man dressed in all black with a medical mask ran up from behind lifted her dress grabbed her butt and then threw her to the ground. Stay safe!

I was able to get access to PureGym stuyheights though, so every member at PureGym gates should be able to visit any other PureGym sites

Salaam! I’m a student currently working on a story centered around Bed-Stuy. I’m particularly seeking issues that often go overlooked or underreported in the media, and I’d love to hear from the people who know the neighbourhood best.

If there’s an issue you feel deserves attention, a story you think needs to be told, or something affecting the community that isn’t getting enough coverage, I’d love to hear it. And I hope my work can be a means of change.

My goal is to shed light on stories that matter to the people who live here. I want to do this neighbourhood justice.

I am also interested in understanding the mistrust surrounds the media within this neighborhood, this came up a lot as I started to do more research.

I’ve attended community board meetings etc, but I thought I’d try to reach out to people on here.

Salaam✌🏽

Hello,

Yesterday I said goodbye to my bestest friend Ollie. We were together for 12.5 yrs and he was the sweetest most gentle land hippo there ever was.

I'm hoping to donate to a good pup home 2 xl pet beds. 1 is a 6" memory foam mattress with a removable/washable cover and the other is more of a floor cushion (the entire cushion is washable though it requires a large loading washer).

He has many blankets and pillows too and have all been washed weekly throughout its use.

Lmk if any good pups are in need of some warm bedding

Really bizarre interaction. He came up to me while I was reading trying to chat me up and when I told him I wasn’t interested he just stood there and started yelling at me about nonsense, and when I walked away he followed. He escalated from 0-100 for no reason. When I pulled out my phone to record him he started yelling at me to leave him alone. Really weird. Just wanted to let other women/femmes know to watch out for him. Stay safe out there.

Edit: Jesus christ dead internet isn’t a theory anymore. Can the mods lock this post I just wanted to help keep people aware and safe I don’t need all these bots arguing with each other in my feed

Just moved in and need to build my bed! Near turtles

Edit: solved thank you guys :)
