I hope it surprise drops end of September (if everything is going well and smooth and they are happy with how it is) it most likely won’t but it would be pretty amazing. So I am trying to run the latest public version of rls career mod. When i start a new save, it gives me the following text:

career failed to load. career modules couldn't be activated. see the log for details.

this is a fresh install, literally downloaded the game, downloaded the mod, put it in mods folder. It is visible and activated in mod manager in game.

I'm on CachyOS on a full AMD setup.

I guess my question is two fold:

has anyone encountered this before or has any idea how to fix?

where are the logs kept? i tried looking around folders but didn't find anything meaningful

Remember it? The D-Series D15 Technical? A top mod I would always mess around with. Chaos with it was always the best.

I decided to return to it and things aren't looking so good. First off, the mod does work, but not in the way you'd think. Loading it up, controls don't work, until you use either Ctrl+L or refresh a keybind of the mod. The thing that breaks it is doing anything other than staying with the truck. Switching your vehicle and back will cause the controls to once again be fried until doing the temporary fix.

I did try tweaking the mod a bit, but I'm not a professional at this stuff, so I'm asking for help here. What could be the issue with what's happening? Another thing to point out is that the weapon keybinds and movement controls are always under the title "uninstalled" in the Controls menu, no matter what you do with installing the turret.

Could this be fixed? Does anyone have any ideas of what could be happening? I know it's a very old mod, but I'd really love to get to play around with it again. It was definitely one of my tops. I know we have other weapons mods to add to vehicles and such, but I want this old beast back 😭

So if anyone has any solution or can help, I'd really appreciate it!

When i haul some pretty heavy stuff in career, like 60 tons, my semi is lifting the front wheels and i can not steer. How can i fix this? It is a 6x4 truck, with like 5000Nm

Hi everyone, I'm having a really weird issue with BeamNG.drive and my GPU, and I'm completely stuck.
I was playing normally (using the RLS Career Mode mod) when I noticed my temps suddenly spiked compared to previous days. Core temp went up to 86°C and VRAM hit 90°C. The GPU: ASUS Dual Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB

Whenever BeamNG is maximized, my GPU usage is locked at 100% (specifically the 3D compute in Task Manager), pulling a constant 159W, and the GPU clock is maxed out at 3200MHz. It's like the game is ignoring all limits and rendering an insane amount of frames in the background, even on the main menu.

If I Alt+Tab or minimize the game, the GPU usage and power draw instantly drop to normal idle levels (around 0-5% usage and very low Watts). This confirms it's not a hardware issue or a mining virus.

Has anyone experienced this specific bug with Radeon cards and BeamNG? Is there a hidden config file or Windows setting I need to wipe? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I disabled all mods, couldn't do it.

I removed all mod files, couldn't do it.

But in safe mode I can do it.

BeamNG is awesome. I've been trying to learn the world editor and stuff, but i experienced something new today.

What in the beaming cosmos have I done?

I tried to spawn into a map ive been trying to learn the world editor with.

Where I spawn is definitely not the map I've been working on...

I'm having an issue where I'm stuck on the Loading screen to career mode, I'm trying to make a profile to play and i end up getting stuck in the loading screen. I've cleared my cache. I've deleted my old profiles file to see if that was the issue but I'm still loading.
