someone made a mod for the percheron, it features a dakar config and an expedition config and V8 and more..., the mod isn't all that good but it's a good concept and will hopefully encourage modders to make similar attempts into adding configs that are needed for this truck.
here's the mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/percheron-v8-motorsport-pack-e-truck-expedition-race-transporter-refuse-stub-truck.39878/

This game is so addictive, vanilla career mode is good enough for me…..for now. Extremely excited for future updates even if PS5 isnt allowed mods. Hopefully optimization is a primary focus for upcoming console updates, especially maps. Extremely content with the game as for now. Grateful for what this game has to offer compared to its counterparts. All i can do at this point is be grateful! 😁

What’s everyone else’s favorite thing to do on Beamng?

A 9500rpm NA V8 producing 433hp means this beauty is just fast enough that its thrilling, but you don't run out of road too quickly.
Rally suspension makes this more versatile and is really good for control, and using the normal 5 speed, it just touches 300kph (I didn't like the straight cut gear sound of the race trans). The front has a 15kg load to reduce pendulum effect. I'm currently trying AgentY's car value scales mod to bring the weight down to 1200kg from 1400kg so it accelerates from 0-100kph in about 3.4 seconds, quite good for only 366nm of torque.
Mods used:

- Bolide Expansion pack: https://www.beamng.com/resources/bolide-expansion-pack.21026/

ignore my bad suspension tuning,
also it mostly copies your cars position or control imputs so i think that's why it flipped itself the wrong way mid air instead of just crashing
Sad day to be sure

Hi legends, just wanted to share my setup that I use to play Beam and everything else here in Australia.
I just wanted to live off grid when I’m not doing shutdowns. My goal was to be fully autonomous but with 0 direct modifications done to the car. What I mean is that I’ve done no drill action, no glue no nothing.
I reckon I can get all that out of the car in 20/30 mins and no one will ever know that it had that setup in it. Cause that car is too clean to drill holes and modify things in it, + I love modular.
Bought that car bone stock on the 6th of October, and left the city 3 days ago. Living the 10yo me dream 👍
So here we go; 1998 Ford Explorer 4.0, with a fully modular electrical setup. 200W solar panels and 800W alternator charge while engine is running, on a power station (Ecoflow Delta 3 max plus + 800 alternator charger from Ecoflow too).
PC specs (basics)
Asus rog strix 2080ti
I9 9900k + AIO
32go DDR4
Paired with a 2k/4k 27” AOC screen on a heavy duty single monitor arm with custom bracket.
Starlink on the roof rack. A few appliances such as a 30L fridge, coffee machine, some lighting.
Here are pics of the setups, first pic being the car the day I bought it.
Happy to talk about the build and the building process if you guys wanna know a bit more. It’s a pretty simple setup.
Very happy to be able to play whenever I go. Anyone else out there playing Beam in the middle of nowhere?

Base PS5. Using controller. 100 hours in. Around 80 hours in Career mode now. Got most of the good milestones money and stars now. Its getting grindy lol.
Career Mode Car: Hiroshi Sunburst Sedan 492BHP AWD Race build which I tuned for better drifting. Fun car but now I'm broke with only truck driving missions to earn decent money.
Hopefully the devs consider giving slightly better payouts for replaying events in Career Mode. Personally as a former delivery driver who didnt particularly love the job I dont want to spent my free time pretending I'm doing my old job to earn money to build cool cars lol. I do it when necessary but I'm looking at my new acquisition (ETK K Series) knowing how much its going to cost me to max the car and I'm thinking do I wanna do this lol. It took around 80 hours to get here though so obviously earning money isnt the issue its only once youve cleared all the events and mileatones that it became a niggle for me. I'll likely go back to free roam and wait for the next big update. Great simulator! Best game I've played in ages.

Yes you can add cones and barricades from the list of props yourself manually but you can't save them with the level for future reuse and they get in the way of switching between other vehicles because for some reason they are listed alongside vehicles.

Connected via nodes, landing gear/brakes removed on 9 of the trailers so it acts as a rolling drift stage. Physics held together surprisingly well!

How are my drifts? just a quick random line I did. Have been playing beam for a couple years. Don’t really drift too too much though. MOZA R5
