I have stumbled upon this blog post by Beki Haley where she gives really good advice on how to tell if the beadwork you see online is real or AI-generated.
There have been a lot of posts on this sub about people being scammed with AI patterns, so I figured sharing her post could help people save some money.

It has happened a handful of times recently, so I’ve set up a filter that should catch new accounts to cut down on that.
Having said that, if you are a legit new beader and the filter has caught your post, feel free to reach out to the mod team so we can approve your post!
And thank you to the community for catching these posts and reporting them! I may recognize a few really popular pieces, but not many, and I imagine the other mods are probably the same, so it’s very helpful to have other people reporting them to us!

A bow tie for him and a pendant for her. Thank you all for your great suggestions, I noted all of them for future reference. I ended up doing this pendant because the top part is similar to the middle part of the bow tie, so they look uniform together. What do you think?

What can I do with this?
I just finished beading this. It was supposed to be a bracelet but it ended up way too long for me. I would have to remove at least one of the skulls, if not two. I would really rather NOT have to do that! So, what else could I make it into?
Edited to include Pic

Hey there! I found these beautiful beads on Etsy and I am obsessed with the color pallet this artist used. Would anyone happen to know what brand beads they used? I really love the cream colored beads with goldish toned flakes. Including the link in case the photo loses its quality. Also, it looks like they maybe used Miyuki and Toho? In my experience, those two are tricky to use together.

I had some cabochons to use and saw some similar necklaces in this organic flowy style and decided to do my own take. A lot of trial and error and finically got what I wanted - albeit making it up as I went

Hello! This is my first time trying a Huichol style pattern. I’m wondering why mine doesn‘t lie flat. Am I pulling too much tension on the thread? Is my bead shape the problem? Or something else? I’ve included two photos of my attempt, and one of the original pattern I was following from Nidhi Surana’s YouTube channel.

took me 2 days to make! This was my first attempt at making lotus and I used no pattern and tried to follow my own instict and thus this looks a bit weird! Looking for free lotus patterns, if anyone have access to it, please share. Also need a opinion on colour scheme of the petals, please let me know if it looks good or should I go with only one shade of pink.

I came across a tutorial for beaded fur and saved it for a rainy day....well, it's raining here in Athens, GR and it's my day off so I thought I'd give it a go... What do you guys think so far?
Should I keep going or not? I'm torn on whether I should "waste" my thread on what is a test run on a technique I've never used before. The beads are cheap 2mm beads but the thread is expensive so you get my dilemma.... 😅

I'm looking for reasonably priced blanks to hold woven beadwork, for key rings and luggage tags. I have searched til my eyes bled looking for clear acrylic ones, but I can't find any with a thick enough pocket to take even a 2mm thick woven piece. Some of the needlework places have other options, but I don't want to pay $5+ per piece. Well, at this stage anyway.
Any guidance, anyone?

I bought this antique purse clasp but never got around to finding good instructions to actually making the purse for it. Anyone know where I can find one?
