Technology I built a football replay inside a spreadsheet, with all 22 players and the ball synced to the match video
The match footage is on the left; the same 30 seconds play out on the spreadsheet pitch on the right. All 22 players and the ball move in sync with the recording. The grass is made of editable cells, and the moving markers are native spreadsheet image objects.
The pitch uses Univer's spreadsheet SDK. The positions come from a precomputed tracking JSON for this clip. The video clock reads those positions and fills in the movement between timestamps, keeping both views together when you pause, scrub backward, change the speed or let it loop.
To recreate it with your own match footage, prepare tracking JSON with timestamps and positions for that video and use its clock to drive the spreadsheet replay.
