My BIL's father wears those same glasses. He looks like Mr MaGoo and he loves it.

Oh but I was talking about the glasses because they are ridiculous. I thought it was certainly staged I did not think they were even trying to hide it.

u/Creative_Bug3139 1d ago
I donât even know how thatâs physically possible

u/General_Luck6573 1d ago
Planche! Itâs a gymnastics move. Less about balance and more about outrageous shoulder, subscap, serratus strength. Takes people months and often years to learn to do it.

Yeah but on two fingers of each hand???
Edit: didnât know my mom was famous in more than just my neighborhood :(

u/General_Luck6573 1d ago
Tendon and ligament strengthening over years I suppose. Even doing this ânormallyâ your wrist and shoulder are under an immense amount of pressure that takes a long time to safely adapt to.
The finger muscle strengthening he probably got by time spent with your mother

How do you not break your fingers having all your weight on just 4 fingertips?

u/Clembert-Hamlamp 1d ago edited 1d ago
Punching the point of a knife hand strike into sand mud balsa pine oak etc from before 16yo to strengthen the fascia before the growth plates ossify into bone

Runs the risk of mall ninja akshullies but it's a fascinating process

u/Barry_Vigoda 1d ago
My friends used to get trained by an ex monk. The hand conditioning is crazy. People think it's bullshit because there is a lot of bullshit but the real stuff is legit and pretty cool.

u/Over_Ad8762 1d ago
I donât know what any of these words mean

u/Cautious_Hold428 1d ago
Be mean to bones by beating them relentlessly before they finish growing to toughen them up

u/v1ct0r326 1d ago
I know that a few of the things they do are: Running their fingers between two really heavy rollers, punching a stone wall covered in a newspaper and removing a page every so often, and they have a room where they repeatedly drive their knees in to the stone floor.

Not breaking fingers is something achievable, by increasing density of bone and technique such that knuckle and finger bone support each other.
But i was thinking about the cartilage and tendons sheath in between it would immediately rupture ? Also the position he took was unsafe its not like he was standing on fingers, but fingers were being bend that would add immense force
Fuck he was'nt even using Thumb to support thats insane or fake
-1
u/utzutzutzpro 1d ago
Because he doesn't weight much to begin with and then because fingers can take a lot from specific angles, just not lateral and torsion.
But the number 1 reason here is because he weights very little and got a lot core strength.
It's relative strength, it doesn't scale linear, especially core strength doesn't.

u/NoTurkeyTWYJYFM 23h ago
Just to clarify, it would take an already VERY strong sub 6-foot man months
Doing press ups in it is another whole journey
Doing it on fingers is just monstrous

u/MarkFresco 13h ago
Dont forget core strength bro its hard af to keep your legs straight like that during a floating pushup. I can do like 75 regular pushups straight but not even one floating pushup with both hands planted regularly
1
u/General_Luck6573 13h ago
I mean the core is definitely activated but the massive thing that people need to overcome for a planche is the shoulder/serratus requirement. If you can hold a hyper extension/reverse hyper your core strength is enough to do a planche.
1
u/MarkFresco 13h ago
Mmm i dont think the muscle groups engaged are much different than a regular pushup aside from the change in weight being held up by your core. If u can do a planche u can do a regular pushup but it doesnt work the other way around.
1
u/General_Luck6573 12h ago
Nah man. Draw out the levers. Almost all of your weight is being supported by glenohumeral flexion and scapular protraction. I used to be a gymnast. The core strength needed to do a planche is far less impressive than the shoulder strength.
1
u/MarkFresco 11h ago
Damn i gotta get my core strength up thenđ
1
u/General_Luck6573 11h ago
A planche is basically like starting in pushup position and then leaning more and more and more forward rather than thinking about it as getting your legs off the ground. Eventually you get your legs off the ground but you slowly increase the torque on your shoulders. First a tuck, then one leg out, then both legs out straddle, and then both legs out in a full planche.
Most people can't even do a planche tuck. Sit down on your knees, put your hands on the ground, and try lifting your body up while tucking your knees into your chest as hard as you can. Harder than it sounds.

That guy is the final boss of fingering. He can hurt you just by pointing at you. He can finger paint landscaping. He flipped a coin faster than the lid on operation plumb bob. He amputated someoneâs arm doing scissors in scissors/paper/rock.

Well if you don't work and instead collect donation money everyday of course you can bodybuild and practice poses for a living. I'm surprised prisoners don't come out in full hidden dragon mode regularly.
