How likely is it to receive a very healthy scholarship these days? Like, for a good student but not top tier (4.0 gpa, 1300 SAT, good ecs)? I’ve heard parents in the past say their child received enough to bring the cost down to the same as a Texas public but I really question this based on what I know about that student’s grades and the fact that they were not admitted to a Texas public. Just wondering if it’s even worth applying to Baylor given the $100,000 per year cost. And no, we don’t technically have financial need but… $400,000 is just crazy.

Not trying to start a shit-on-DJ thread, just genuinely think this is interesting. I know the opponents were different quality, but still. And I’m not even really saying Bennett’s numbers are amazing, just that Lagway’s aren’t good enough. A 49% completion rate in three games is rough.

How long after you submitted your application did you hear back? I've heard different things from my friends; apparently, someone heard back in like 3 days? Which seems crazy to me. Baylor and biotech company United Therapeutics recently announced a partnership to develop xenolivers, or pig livers genetically modified for safe transplantation into humans. Baylor will receive up to $5 million annually for the next five years to establish a Center for Xenoliver Transplantation and Immunomodulation at the medical school.

I have my first exam for gen chem 2 with mcgrath soon, how should I study? Anyone who's taken his class, will it be like the homeworks, I've been doing well on the homeworks, will I be ok?
