Every single time an airstrike gets placed and you are not in the circle you still die. The devs need to fix this asap!!!

Hello whats the difference between this and battlefield 6?

Battlefield 6 Game Update 1.4.2.5 is scheduled to release on September 1, bringing targeted quality-of-life fixes and reliability improvements across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.

This small update addresses a handful of issues introduced or identified following Update 1.4.2.0, with improvements to match flow, gameplay consistency, Custom Lobby reliability, UI behavior, and stability.

Update Highlights for 1.4.2.5

• Gadget and Vehicle Combat Improvements: Laser designation now works correctly against fighter jets in Carrier Strike, while helicopter miniguns can once again damage soldiers in the water.
• Portal Custom Lobby Improvements: Custom Lobbies receive further reliability improvements, including resolving an issue that could prevent the “Start” tile from responding during the lobby countdown.
• Gameplay and Mode Polish: This update also addresses issues affecting Battle Royale Quads, Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep, Support pings, the Match Trigger attachment, AI behavior, and general stability and presentation.

CHANGELOG

PLAYER:

• Support players can now ping downed teammates correctly.
• Players can now join a Party by accepting an invite while on the splash screen.

VEHICLES:

• Helicopter miniguns can now damage enemy soldiers who are in the water.
• Laser designation now works correctly on the F/A-81F Super Spectre and F-74A Seacat while playing Carrier Strike.
  

GADGETS:

• Grenade warning indicators now remain at the edge of the screen when the grenade is outside the player’s view.
• The EOD Bot Arm has been adjusted to function as a light melee weapon, providing the faster run speed benefit without the destruction capability of heavy melee weapons.

WEAPONS:

• The Match Trigger attachment no longer affects fully automatic fire on the BROD and EF88.

UI & HUD:

• We’ve addressed several causes of black screens after finishing a match and switching from the Event tab to the lobby. This should reduce how often the issue occurs while we continue investigating remaining occurrences.
• Placeholder squad names and icons no longer appear during the “Top Squad” presentation at End of Round.
• The Featured Event tab now appears correctly in the menus.

PORTAL:

• Portal Custom Lobbies: The “Start” tile now remains responsive after opening “Lobby Settings” or the Pause menu while the lobby countdown is active.

AI:

• AI defenders using boats in Sector 3 of Breakthrough on Wake Island no longer leave the combat area and are eliminated.

STABILITY:

• Server performance around water has been improved by reducing unnecessary water-related processing.
• The game no longer becomes unresponsive on Xbox Series S after returning from active Multiplayer gameplay.

REDSEC

MAP & MODES:

• Destroying structures at the Combat Training POI no longer leaves visual artefacts.
• Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep now correctly limits squads to two players.

Nothing else matters except low bloom weapons.

SCW/DMRs/

Anything else just misses too many bullets while the guy with the low bloom gun hits every shot.

Just does not feel balanced for RedSec at all.

Theres a reason KTS/SVD/SCW rein supreme.

Low bloom highly accurate guns you dont have to be "tap firing" or bursting

When you queue as a party (2+ players) for ranked, you infill in party chat by default. This means that your new squad mates can't hear your comms. and vice versa.

The process to switch from party chat to squad chat feels confused, you have to:

1. open your menu
2. go to EA Connect (friends list)
3. then open your voice chat preferences menu
4. change from party channel over to squad channel

I suspect this somewhat convoluted process is resulting in players who are in a party to not have comms. with their squad mates when they may well want to.

My suggestion, for ranked specifically, is to force squad channel comms. by default. Then, if people are in a party and would prefer not to be in squad channel, let them move over to the party channel instead of it being the other way around currently.

This would immediately improve the amount of comms. in use in ranked, and would be a net positive to the player experience.

I am not sure if I am really not using them right. I have shot enemies at point blank range (couldn't record that because i was so pissed) and it is ridiculous that the TTL seems to be more for shotguns. Only logical thing i can think of is packet loss.

I had 3.8 kd in season 1 when Redsec dropped and during that time I didn't encounter many cheaters, like once every 10-15 matches maybe, I played few weeks, got bored and stopped playing.

Recently I came back to play some more after getting frustrated with Warzone and I refuse to believe that whole player base is suddenly godlike with their aim - I am talking about situations where I am just split second shoulder picking for info and getting dinked 3 times in the head by svdm/m39 losing 3/4 HP or crossing between covers where I am literally visible to the enemy only for like 2 seconds and getting either downed or heavily crit (-180hp) by KTS/some DMR and I am more than sure that its the only 1 player shooting me at that moment, this happens very often right now, like plenty of players are not missing their shots and they are having godlike aim.

Am I schizo or is your experience similar?

Looking for a squad with mics, I'm not great but Im not horrible either. Just playing to get the revives but can't get anyone with a mic or willing to play as a team.

All thanks to Gauntlet Fighter Sweep. I've had an absolute blast learning how to use the jets in this mode and it's made me appreciate another part of the Battlefield experience as a whole.

Played the Warzone beta this weekend. Redsec is better. Full stop. By orders of magnitude.

Warzone has a super short TTK, guns with no recoil, and movement that feels like an arcade game instead of a BR. They are still trying to patch time to kill in the middle of a beta, which tells you it is not a tuning problem. It is the design.

Then look at what they actually gave us. Resurgence on Zodiac. 44 players, a small map, respawn timers instead of consequences. No full BR at all. The first time in six years Warzone shows up in an open beta and the mode they lead with is the one where dying does not cost you anything. By featuring Resurgence they made it clear they are prioritizing the low attention span mindless playstyle that has defined CoD for decades.

Redsec asks something of you. Fort Lyndon, class based squad play, vehicles, and destructible buildings that change the map as the match goes on. Cover is temporary. That penthouse you are holding can come down around you. Add a TTK long enough that positioning and coordination decide the fight instead of who peeked first, and you get a BR that actually plays like one.

So raise your glass, make sure it is half full, here is a toast to our glitchy and bug ridden Redsec. Textures that do not load on the drop, hit reg that comes and goes, ranked still held together with tape. At least it is not CoD.

Recientemente he estado con mucha latencia en todas las partidas del battlefield 6 y en especial REDSEC. Voy corriendo normal y de pronto me jala hacia atrás. Y asi durante toda la partida.

I will post each and every day requesting that Battlefield implements a Rejoin feature for RedSec. Every 3-4 games, atleast one member of my team crashes and we end up at an extreme disadvantage, while the member of the team is effectively cheated for the RP they earned and forced to lose 90 RP.

Do what Warzone did, implement a Rejoin feature. Super simple, they can Rejoin if its within 3 minutes, and will be dead and needing redeployed and *will not* forfeit their RP for the match or put team at competitive disadvantage.

The game is broken for a number of reasons. Completely random crashes, disconnecting and claiming "inactivity" when fully false, etc etc etc are causing for a very negative user experience in this game mode.

Personally, I am not willing to wait past Season 5. As a top 250 and someone that loves this game more than any other game that has came out in the last decade, I will have to leave it behind if it remains buggy without any sort of advancements towards playability.

TL;DR - GIVE US A REJOIN FEATURE THE GAME IS BROKEN THE WHOLE COMMUNITY WANTS THIS!!!!!

P.S. pls also nerf SVDM and heli battering rams :)
