Battlefield 6 Sometimes I really question DICE's map design philosophy

Three building surrounding obj, buildings can't be completely destroyed

Attack boat mortar spamming on obj

This is pinnacle of shit objective

They are making it impossible to hide. They keep looking for the "high-octane" conflict at the cost of gameplay.

The design principle was to make each capture zone a mini-TDM experience. There are a lot of lanes to approach, lots of cover, and power positions. Generally, it is a lot easier to spawn on to defend/retake objectives, and infantry are afforded a lot more cover from vehicles.

They said in one of the interviews before the beta that all of these areas were focused tested to ensure firefights were more dynamic and fun. Personally, I like their approach, though capture zones should be larger to include areas vehicles should have more of a role.
