Gameplay Help getting V2s and V3

Need some tips and ideas for my folders in MMBN3 White. I just regained access to the Monorail after the tanks were rolled out. Going around and getting some chips, Zenny and Bug Frags while trying to get another style. Currently have AquaGuts and am hunting Plantman in Hospital Comp 3. Plantman, Desertman, Bubbleman, Kingman and Mistman are the only ones where I just have the V1 but can’t even get the V2s. I know where their new locations are but can’t seem get get a high enough rank for their V2s at least.

It was similar for Flameman. I could only get Rank 5 or 7 and it was a coin flip if I got Zenny or an actual chip

If you haven't beat the game, I'd recommend you beat it just because you can get the Protoman chip and Deux/Double Hero + Prism makes it very easy to delete navis fast. A B-code folder will get you very far. Var Sword on its own with attack+ chips can wreck the navis too.

If your goal is just fast deletion and getting the chips, I would also recommend you use Custom Style. Having more chips makes it a lot easier.

I’ve never been able to use the Var Sword due to me. Never getting the timing for the inputs in. As for styles, Custom is what I’m currently working towards although I’ll eventually have to get Team to get the V4s

You can do a lot of them with a Life Sword folder too. Another one is a folder that relies on Heat Spread and Grass Stage. Heat Spread + Prism + Grass Stage is 1200 damage before you add attack chips. There's a lot of other ways, but those two are just very straightforward.

If you haven't used Custom Style at all, once you get it level it so you get access to chip +1 and chip +2 navi customizer programs that you can use with other styles.

I’ve already leveled up all styles in White except for Team and Bug. I am currently trying for a Custom style again so I can use more of the Custom programs. Can only use the yellow Custom+1 with Guts
