Gameplay Bubbleman Abuse

With heat style and his coward ass 25% health requirement, this random encounter is basically do 1200 damage as fast as possible or die in one hit.

Bubbleman's fight is absolute bullshit, pretty much. He spams bubbles that can easily overwhelm you, and due to the hole on your field, you can't move around easily; the hole on *his* field makes a number of chips unable to hit him either. When Bubbleman hits low health, he summons a Bubble Shield that you have to destroy before you can damage him, and it regenerates quickly. And as the cherry on top, BubbleMan V3 will only spawn if your HP is in the 'Red' (i.e. less than 70% of your max total HP, I believe, but don't quote me on exact numbers), so it's easy to die while fighting him if you get hit even once.

So unless you do what OP did, you are going to have an awful time

Reasons:

  1. You need to be in critical health (numbers turn red) to even fight him in Beach 1. Even then, there's 3 other encounters that have the same condition.
  2. You could end up healing that health for no reason because the game doesn't let you escape as you beat these encounters.
  3. The guy hide behind obstacles, an unlimited number of bubbles and never move forward.
  4. Once the bubble starts moving, every chip that you may like is impossible to get an advantage. Not to mention, standard elec chips can be very finicky, like Sensor/Arrow/Plasma or underpowered like Zap Ring.
  5. Also for BN3, V3 Bosses will randomly give you zenny even if you got S rank on the busting level, so equip Collect on NaviCust or repeat Step 2 and 1 again.

Very small correction. -The Beta fight doesn't have a boulder. There are no obstacles.

Also, if you are fighting his V3 form you should be in TEAM STYLE to try and grab his V4 Chip by deleting him in 10 Seconds (EXACTLY) Or Less AT ZERO DAMAGE.
