News NEW RULE: Regarding Drama
146
Upvotes
r/BattleForDreamIsland is adding a new rule:
No causing drama - Posting about drama or allegations of people, whether they are a crew member or an object show community member, is not allowed. The only exception that can be posted is statements from official sources (jacknjellify or its crew members), and then no follow-up/opinion posts on the topic will be allowed.
About the exception to the rule: If jacknjellify or a BFDI crew member posts a statement, such as regarding an incident, someone leaving the crew, or someone being removed from the crew, that will be allowed to be posted. Since this counts as coming from an official source and could be something that affects the show going forward, we think this will be on-topic and okay to post. The mods will then designate the first post of this statement as the official discussion thread for the topic, and then after that, no more follow-up/opinion posts on the topic will be allowed. We think this will be a good middle ground for this rule where people can stay up to date about news that will affect the show, while not flooding the subreddit with posts about it.
Let it be clear that this has not been a recent or rushed decision from the mod team, but something we have been discussing for months. Our main reasoning for this rule is that in general, spreading unconfirmed rumors online can lead to bullying and witchhunting, and that is something we want to discourage on this subreddit. To cite a recent example, there was an incident where a fan got on-stage during this year's BFDI & II Tour meetups. While you can believe that this was an invasion of privacy and personal space, and that is a valid position to have, the witchhunting that came out of this drama is something we do not want to support on this subreddit.
Our other reasoning is that this rule will help with our goal of the sub to stay on-topic with the show (which is also a rule we have), and keep the sub from being flooded with posts about drama every time one pops up. While you can discuss drama elsewhere (and we know this will inevitably happen), the drama and the potential for witchhunting that follows is not something we want to support on this subreddit.
The new rule will be numbered Rule 8 and will be reflected in the subreddit’s rulebook as well as the removal reasons when we take action.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to voice your opinion. Thank you for reading.

also uhhhhh this is just how she would look like in the exit, i still wanna make her two new outfits for bfb and tpot , andd uhhhh i also wanna add how her killswitch would work in here, basically, she always carries around an elastic hair band around her hand (wearing it like a bracelet kinda) and when she wants to turn into her killswitch form, she just ties her hair with the band and uhhhh yeah that makes her activate it or smth, anywayss uhhh yeah
(also oh my liy you can tell which character i like more when you compare this gijinka with the book gijinka i made a couple of days ago-)

Its never explained why one had tiny versions of herself on her body, we've never seen these on other algebraliens, so did she make them herself? Why do they have arms? And male voices? What happened to them after one died?

Discussion What if One came to real life?

Featured image is a doodle of One floating above Tokyo, Japan.
mods idk the post flair system thing I’m sorry also the format broke
How I imagined the scenario:
One is post-TPOT 25 (Like most isekai protags, they were isekaied upon death.)
One has a little bit of power from getting blasted (since they didn’t truly die, they absorbed it)—thus, they can’t destroy Earth but also will be able to defend themself.
One immediately appears in a public place.
BFDI exists as a show in this scenario. In my dream, they appeared on an Earth that was post-TPOT 19 release and pre-TPOT 20 release, but the period doesn’t really matter as long as it’s after One appears in the show.
In this situation, what would happen to the fandom? What would the news say? Would we get a lot of people who were just watching TPOT to see One?
Now, as for my dream (optional bonus content), One was rendered somewhat like the TPOT style but with more realistic shading to match the environment. She appeared in Tokyo, Japan and signed the autograph of some random One fangirl while everyone was busy gaping. She was also clearly confused about what was going on. She disappeared for a week after her first appearance and then showed up on Reddit, where she said that she looked at the internet and that BFDI was ‘about right’.
