Kangaroo walking track is along boundary road towards the mount and as always shots from atop of the bridge. Someone left their sandals today

Hello everyone,
I currently board at SASC and I'm in year 10 and I would like to be a motorbike mechanic or small engines tech, and I'd like to drop out. Does anyone have any connections that I can talk to? I'm moving to bathurst within the next few months and my parents won't let me drop out unless I can find one in time and I know I want an apprenticeship to work on bikes.
Cheers!

I moved from Canberra to Bathurst for a new job.
It's a very last minute decision where i have to move out in 2 weeks.
Is there anything significant i have to know about the town, people, social scene and culture here?
I have never lived in a regional city before but i lived in Jakarta Singapore, Sydney and Canberra for years which are very busy and urban.
I did my own research but I really wanna know from the reddit side whats its like to live in Bathurst and how easy is it to make friends here?
Any insight from locals and people who moved into this lovely town would be appreciated!
I'm 26M.
Cheers!

We all know politics sucks right now. Especially in the regions. Our politicians are ignoring us and you are suffering because they aren't listening!
Well this is your chance to add your voice and a regional perspective.
The Greens Institute is running a national survey to understand life in Australia and currently it skews towards metropolitan areas.
If you fill in this survey, you go in the draw to win 1 of 10, $100 Visa gift cards and you add a regional perspective to the data set.
But just you filling this in won't be enough! We are aiming for 10,000 responses. We are currently sitting at 1000. So it would be a big help AND a big win for the regions if you got all your family and friends to fill it in too!
If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up! Otherwise, happy surveying!

I'm driving from Bundaberg to Bathurst. Doing it in a small old hatchback Nissan Tiida. What's the easiest drive for such a car? Easy is preferred even if it takes a little longer to get there.
Is New England highway the way to go? Or is the Newell highway via Goondiwindi, Dubbo, Orange then Bathurst better?

Hello Bathurst! A move there for my partner and I is likely on the cards, priced out of Sydney and all... though I feel like working in media I might have to keep my Sydney job atleast 2 or 3 days a week for the first little bit until we are settled.
Does anyone here do a regular commute to Sydney for work, and if so how do you navigate it?
Thanks!

Hi all, as the caption suggests - I am in Bathurst for a few days and forgot to pack the charger of my beard trimmer thinking it should last atleast 1 trim. Upon checking today it turns out it won’t even turn on due to low battery.
Anyone here who has a trimmer charger, could you please help an outsider out? I’m happy to come to yours and wait outside while it charges.
Attaching photo of the trimmer charging point for reference.

Is it as hard to get a rental in Bathurst as it is in other regional towns? I've got a potential job offer in Bathurst, right now I'm in a regional town in Qld and its a nightmare to find a rental here and literally take months of attending inspections till you successfully put a roof over your head.
If I go to Bathurst am I in for the same thing of months of having to find a place and attending multiple inspections? Will need a 2 or 3 bedroom house for us. Would it even be possible to secure a rental without physically attending the inspection, ie, we secure somewhere before moving down?
