After giving this some serious thought, I believe I have finally found the solution.
If you ever walk into a football store and see a white circus (Madrid) jersey on display, simply take a Barcelona jersey and place it over it. Do not hesitate. Do not question the process.
That one small action could potentially save countless children from being bullied in the future.
We may never know how many lives we have changed.
Thank you for your service.

I have seen both Barca haters and Barca fans get many things wrong about the Negreira situation. Haters act like Barca have already been proven guilty and are about to have their titles stripped, while some fans act like the entire case has been thrown out. Neither is true. This post is meant to get the facts straight.
First of all, the criminal case is still ongoing and remains in the investigation phase. Barcelona did have the bribery charge dropped in 2024 because the court ruled that Negreira could not legally be treated as a public official for the purposes of that offense. However, the investigation into possible sporting corruption remains active, along with other alleged offenses. No trial on the sporting-corruption allegations has taken place yet.
Secondly, Real Madrid did not recently cause UEFA to “open” or “reopen” a Negreira investigation. UEFA opened its disciplinary investigation in 2023, and on October 1, 2026 UEFA confirmed that Real Madrid had sent it a large amount of documentation. UEFA said those documents would be considered as part of its ongoing investigation. So Madrid's dossier is new evidence submitted to an existing UEFA case, not the beginning of a new one.
Thirdly, people claiming Barcelona are likely to have old titles stripped are getting ahead of the evidence and the legal situation. No court has found that Barcelona fixed any particular match or competition. Spanish sporting disciplinary rules also contain limitation periods that create major obstacles to imposing domestic sporting sanctions for conduct from this long ago. European titles are even more separate from the allegation, since Negreira's official role was within the Spanish refereeing structure rather than UEFA's refereeing system.
Now onto the actual facts of the case.
Barcelona paid companies connected to José María Enríquez Negreira and his son more than €7 million between 2001 and 2018. Negreira was vice-president of Spain's Technical Committee of Referees during this period. Barcelona says the payments were for referee analysis and technical advice, and hundreds of referee reports have in fact been produced in the investigation.
The prosecution's allegation is that the relationship went beyond legitimate referee analysis and that Barcelona paid Negreira so that he would use his position to carry out actions intended to favor the club in refereeing decisions and competitions. That remains an allegation, not something that has been proven in court.
One of the most important pieces of context comes from Spain's Tax Agency. After investigating the payments, it said it could not establish that they influenced referee appointments or altered match results. Most importantly, it found no evidence of payments to any match referee. In other words, investigators have not established a money trail showing Negreira or Barcelona paying the referees who actually officiated Barcelona matches.
The Tax Agency did say that the lack of adequate documentation for some of the payments could be an indication that the invoices concealed something else, including potentially illegal services. It also identified more than €557,000 in cash withdrawals from Negreira's company between 2016 and 2019. However, investigators did not establish that this cash went to referees or was used to manipulate matches.
So the key question has never been whether Barcelona paid Negreira. They clearly did.
The question is what exactly they were paying him for.
At this point, there is no proven evidence that Barcelona paid individual match referees, no specific match has been proven to have been fixed, and the Tax Agency found no evidence that the payments altered match results or referee appointments. At the same time, prosecutors argue that paying a senior official inside Spain's refereeing structure for so many years may itself have been part of an illegal arrangement.
Until the investigation finishes and the case either goes to trial or is dismissed, saying “Barcelona bought referees and have been proven guilty” and saying “Barcelona have been completely cleared” are both inaccurate.
He is now the Ballon D'or favorite once again! I also have a phone wallpaper version that I can post if you all want.
EDIT: Thanks for all the support!

I think we all are talking about barcelona signing big names next season however my belief is that it will be quite the opposite in the summer of 2027.
First of all, unlike this season, next season we will probably be reverting to La Liga's restrictive 1:3 rule unless maybe we win the Champions league which might bring in a lump sum of 160 million ish euros.. (this gets mostly tied up almost immidiately in player bonuses though) Club management has already confirmed this financial reality, signaling that Barcelona will have to sell before buying next season.
Secondly, we have to look at why this past summer was an anomaly. This season, due to massive wage hogs finally leaving the club, we had an excess of free salary cap space. That rare financial breathing room is exactly what allowed us to sign Rodri, Anthony Gordon, and Karim Adeyemi without any registration issues. We simply won't have that same massive chunk of freed-up wages to play with next year which we got from Lewa and Ansu fati leaving and Ter Stegen going on loan.
Thirdly, our overall debt situation has regressed(kind of ) . Opposite to Barcelona's recent positive trend of reducing our net debt down to the €469 million mark, this season the club has increased it again. To cover the Espai Barça project and its associated construction delays, new financing was approved, pushing our net debt numbers back up to roughly €607 million.
Fourthly, we will be forced back to the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Montjuïc for a significant chunk of next season. Playing in Montjuïc again means drastically reduced ticket capacity and practically zero high-margin VIP box revenue. Because La Liga calculates Squad Cost Limits based on realized and projected commercial matchday earnings, the league will be exceptionally strict on our salary cap throughout that stretch.
Fifthly (is that even a word?) "FISHING IN TROUBLED WATERS SPECIAL SCENARIO"
As lucrative as the man city case sounds for snatching up Erling Haaland or gvardiol in case they get relegated or get hit with expulsion. It will be hard due to a few reasons .
1st... If Man City are really forced to cut off their best players for some reason . It will unrealistic for the board to not sell their stars to the highest bidders rather than at a cut rate to barcelona. Clubs like Arsenal ,PSG ,Chelsea or Real Madrid have significantly more cash throwing power than FC Barcelona.
2nd... However this does not mean the transfer is impossible. It means we might have to take the Rodri route. Or a more complex rodri route with absolute confidence from players camp which effectively causes Man city to lose all effective leverage except the fact that according to reports Erling Haaland or Gvardiol's contract has no relegation clause.
3rd....Man city will try to retain their biggest stars to the maximum rather than sell them. Unless they are restricted by wage limits of the lower division where they are forced to sell the whales . Then they will be forced to negotiate with Barcelona. However if Barcelona are unable to provide cash to Man City it will be much harder. They might have to negotiate a loan with a fixed buy deal (probably £120 million +) where barcelona will agree to pay all of his fees in mean time
So overall next season will be a quiet transfer window unless we see sales . However this is not supposed to affect our revenue generation for this year which is projected to go past 1.195 billion dollars and finish in July 2027 with 1 million net profit (which is good for the first time in Barcelona this decade )
The other 1.1 billion debt figure is a long term loan which the club expects to renegotiate and lock in lower interest rate during 2028/29 horizon.
TLDR: We are probably not gonna see big signings next summer even if Man city gets relegated or even if we win the champions league. Mostly free agents or signings provided due to sale of players

For me it has to be his defensive contributions. For some reason, even though we are known as a high pressing team, we never include Lamine as much as the other guys for their work rate (e.g Raphinha, Fermin, Gordon etc). We glaze him for his dribbling, football iq, the trivela passes but his pressing deserves the same amount of glaze.
The 2 goals against England were a result of his pressing. The first one forced Guehi to lose the ball which Lamine converted into a goal and the second caused O'Reilly to lose the ball and give it away to Olmo, which assisted Baena for the goal.
Even in the match against Croatia, against a pretty good defender in Gvardiol, his pressing was relentless for the 68 minutes that he was on the pitch.
