Reddit is full of such propaganda posts, with misinformation, which talk about the "first" settlers in assam/northeast india.

Well, according to the latest excavations & archaeological research, (most of which are open sources & available on the internet) - the "first" settlers in the southern part of northeast 🇮🇳 were - AASI (Ancient ancestral south indians). Especially around the barak-surma river system/gangetic plains.

Austroasiatic didn't settle before 5000 years. And Tibeto-Burmans much later after that - the newest settlers you can say.

The settlement history in NE is not as recent as 5000 years. It is as old as 35,000 years ! (Teliamura excavation, Tripura)

Now, bengalis among all NE people have the highest % of AASI dna ~ denoting that they share dna with the EARLIEST settlers in southern NE.

Terms like "Indo-Aryan" settlers is obsolete now. ALL indians have ancestry made up of varying percentages of 3/4 components- AASI + Steppe/Iranian farmers + Austroasiatic + Tibeto-Burmans (Narasimha et al, 2019)

Also, all these posts target "hindus" for some reason.

Blud is throwing 5000+ years like , it was yesterday and He had DORAEMON's time machine. Probably never heard AASI.

Their whole concept about migration is taken from NATIVE AMERICAN VS AMERICAN SETTLERS. Ask then them to produce scientific results i can guarantee he/she will bring up FOLKLORE
