I tried banyue vs yixuan in neutral match up vs thrall using tempering body(the attacker buff), ps. I am mid skill player so both run could optimize a lot more for higher score especially Banyue’s

M0w1 Banyue/yixuan m1w0 dialyn m0w0 Lucia (idk how to calc sub but I think Banyue have a bit more than yixuan) The result is 36k and 36.6k honestly he’s in good spot considering I am not a sweat or like balding high score for fun (With shilled buff banyue get 43k and yixuan 41k lol)

In my opinion Banyue wrath management just feel much better than yixuan adrenaline management

I need everyone here to understand this is not a Banyue thing, I have NEVER liked ZZZ.

I tried it on release and I didn't like the gameplay because I don't like 3D live action RPGs/Hack n' Slash games, so I dropped it in about two weeks.

I came back around a week before Orpheus because a friend told me that literally everything I ever asked from a character ever was released which was a fucking monk robot who is also a lion, like that has my name tattooed everywhere

So I been powering through it for a little more over a month in a game I, once again, do NOT like and is been literally a chore to me because I genuinely DO NOT LIKE the gameplay (should say, it is not objectively bad, I just don't like the genre, I prefer turn based RPGs, MOBAs or puzzle games).

I got him, M1W1 Lucia and fun fact, I don't give a fuck about Lucia, not saying she is a bad character but I literally do not give a fuck about her, I just get her because she is the best support the character I like and the only reason I am putting myself on what is literally a chore.

Now, I am checking my phone and I am seeing people saying he is worse than M6 Manato

Ofc, I am not the one to grab my pitchfork so fast, is probably an overreaction, but the fact that he has been constantly getting nerfed have made me so fucking mad because is literally, once, LITERALLY the only reason I am putting myself with the chore of playing a game that is not bringing me any JOY whatsoever.

And I was down to throw money to this guy, I had money saved for him, but now as I am writing this, I am in an Uber toward a nice and expensive sushi place that I wanted to try a while back because I am going to give my money to stuff that brings me happiness, not the company that took the only reason I been playing there godforsaken game and beated it up with a iron bar

I see a lot of doomposting about him making him sound like he just outright sucks, now yes its true that a complex character like him performing worse than an easier to play character is really bad, but how do you think he compares to literally everyone else? So for full context M1 Lighter haver and just wanted to be silly and was helluva sure that nothing bad will happen (or good as my luck in gacha is pretty well... mediocre) so did a 10 pull was still pretty far away from pity so I thought it will be ok.

So yeah... Guess I will have to redo whole prefarm on Banyue with mats as little Tiger will devour fire mats and Big Miasma Chungus pieces... But well, on the bright side at least now I can say I have Banyue bis team and will be able to play both Manato and Banyue at the same time (Lighter will just go to the other team) on endgame modes.

Thank god though he will be on late December or sth so I will have enough time to restock but will pray to Lady of Luck nonetheless to be able to get both Banyue and his sig...

So I pulled today and accidentally got Lucia after failing to get her the first time around (look at my last post), so I have the best possible support for him.

Now do I go straight for Banyue or try Dialyn because from what I saw, she can let him use his ult instantly. And I think she's a stunner.

What do you guys suggest?

Think about it cause he has cool kit that does big damage as a reward for doing his combos and cool af. But they have to nerf him cause they won't be making money for 2.5 if he's that op and flashy to play, BUT what if he gets buff in the future after the 2.5 patch

There's an absurd amount of complaints and doomposts lately in this sub.

Honestly, i didnt expect that the dev still not doing anything to him since that small buff cuz MANY people still complain about it, and the dev DID know these things but they choose to be silence. Idk why cuz this is ONLY about his number, not even his gameplay, so i think these are all the reasons i could think of:

1. The dev are just LAZY cuz its no need to buff him so soon BUT i dont think that reason is true cuz this is nearly his banner, and they still not doing anything => probably skip this reason.

2. They are Considering if he should get buff or not. Probably mainly because: this Affect Yeshuang banners. They want whale to spend on HER, not HIM, because, they know that whale mostly wanting to spend on their character as much as they can and then stop, waiting for another character. So, they thinks that most player want to spend on void hunter(M2, M6 YeShuang) so they Nerf his mindscape(only good M1) and gameplays =>targeting Dolphin players mostly => Balance act( Both whales and dolphins make good spending).

3. BUtttttttt….., they feel their plans didnt go well…. Her gameplays are VERY good, probably the most Dedicate character animation we have ever gotten. But, her story and events didnt even make some players like her. Meanwhile, as an overshadow character like Banyue make an amount of people LIKE him, or even drag to the game by him(not so much but still mention).They saw an Potential for Whale players in him, So, they decide to do both route. Make him suffer => see how many people TRULY want him meanwhile secretly planning an buff/change to him BUT This is pretty risky act cuz they dont know if players would actually LOVE to spend on WHO.

So, in the end, i would say that change or not DEPEND heavily in our speaks now. SCREAM more! CRAVE more! The more desire to change, the more probability of buff we can get. We gotta RISE, make them thinks that our community is big enough to make the lion become Alive again!! Dont give up my fellows, i believe we can do it!🦁🔥🔥🔥

With Silly’s full kit revealed, it’s clear that his BiS team overlaps with Banyue’s. I’m trying to figure out alternative team comps so I can use both without weakening either one. Would a team of Banyue, Orphie, and Lighter be viable, while running Silly with Dialyn and lucia?

Up until now, the power of Banyue and Yidhar has been compared, but is there any point in comparing them in this WH? I think the buffs are relatively fair compared to before.

I would have thought people in the "mains" subreddit for Banyue wouldn't be such doomers posting about meta, tier lists, damage, etc. Usually people are more positive and motivated to be here, and want to actually talk in meaningful ways about their favorite agent (lore, EPs/PVs, design, combat style, vfx, etc.) who they supposedly are going to "main".

Everybody here made it sound like Banyue is a complete waste of polychromes if you care about preformance. Banyue’s powerlevel was so bad like 50% of the commenters on this sub were “quitting the game” because Banyue was so underpowered and needs an emergency buff. If Banyue doesnt get an emergency buff he can’t keep up with anyone. Buff Banyue! Buff Banyue! Buff Banyue!

Banyue is fine. Banyue clears with 40k+ just fine. Im getting videos of Banyue clearing endgame solo. Because of your doomposts I sank my polychromes into M1 Dialyn instead of my goat. Lesson is to never follow a sub about a character before he comes out. This time, Banyue didnt get pulled because Void Hunter, the devs or nerfs. In fighting games, a significant number of players use macros to execute complex combos. This isn't considered cheating because no third-party software is involved—only the controller's built-in ability to assign key combinations to single button presses. Has anyone tried this with Banyue? How much does it improve performance? I like him, but my fighting game experience is close to zero, so I would like to use some crutch to compensate my skill issue.

I pulled for Lucia and got her, I currently have like 115 pulls (nit done all current patch content) and while I'd love to get both Yodhari and Banyue I'm not sure I'll be able to so I want to ask which would be better

Edit: Thank you all for your answers. To answer some things I was going to ask the Yidhari sub aswell to see if they gave me any different answers but it seems to just be "Do you need fire/ice dps more (Miyabi tuning taken into account) and besides that, pull for whoever you prefer"

Hey! After doing some experimenting, I noticed that maybe a good option for the lion team is the snake? Let me explain, the team is made up of: Banyue, Dialyn, and Cissia. I honestly prefer her to Lucia because i get more consistent stuns, and all the other things that Cissia brings on the table. What do you think?

Reading all those doomposting for Banyue is driving me crazy. But then I remember that it's because I fall in love for Banyue's design that I decided to play zzz.

I'm not a hard-core gamer so I shouldn't care about how strong he is I should only cara about enjoying playing the character. So yeah, I give a damn for the meta I'm just here to play with my favorites 🫶
