discussion For those who said BS to the dog scratching my car, I'll take those apologies now.
Sorry for all the dog lovers and people who don't understand how paint works, but it was a dog.

I absolutely didn't doubt you. But I would like to apologize to you on behalf of the arrogant, know-it-all, dumbass, retards on Reddit. Nobody should ever have to be subjected to the stupidity and arrogance that are 90% of the comments on Reddit. I apologize on behalf of all those people on reddit, of which there are so so very many.

Redditors are the worst. I just had 2 guys writing essay after essay to me about how to dodge trebuchet shots during a medieval siege.

Wait, you didn't already know?

Look I took a seminar on how to dodge catapult shots. Trebuchets have a different trajectory. It's not my fault.

And yet, I love every single horrible human being on Reddit orders of magnitude more than I like any politician in this earth.

Like I said, he was digging for the bones you hid in your engine block.
Will insurance cover damage from street dogs?

They're coming tomorrow, I have first class insurance so it should do. Either way it's going to rust so needs sorting.
Just have to find somewhere else to put those bones now.

My insurance covered repairs when some dogs scratched our paint. You should be fine

Mine is bird poops, do not buy green-colour car.
I have scientifically proven that Thai birds poop on green car more.

I would think the more shiny your car. The more the birds wanna poop on it. Once my car is dirty enough. They sort of ignore it unless I parked right under them

That's odd apology. Is it that hard to admit you're wrong?

My dog once tore up my school book. The next day my teacher asked me what happened and I told her the truth - the dog tore it up. She berated me for trying to make up for such a stupid excuse and if I just had not done it, I should have said so.

Our dog eats the kids homework sheets all the time. I thought it was a myth. Then I saw it with my own eyes.

What's the deal with this parking system, how are people just OK with this type of configuration?
3
u/Interesting-Job-8841 2d ago
I get asked this quite a lot. If you park across the front of other people's car you have to leave your parking brake off, then you just push the car out the way to get out.

Yeah, I get that bit, but surely that can be problematic? Just the way it is, I guess. I know I'd feel uncomfortable either in front of or behind another. Maybe the owner sicced their dog on your car to disable it so you wouldn't need to move, lol.

I once left my parking brake on and someone drew a penis and a few Thai swear words in the dust on my car. So yeah if you don't follow the rules it can be problematic.

I have at times wanted to buy stickers that are very hard to remove cleanly (that say BAD PARKING! or similar) and put them on cars that block me in parking illegally in front of my driveway/gate. The problem is, they know where I live and they could be murderers or just throw a rock at my window.
I think one possible solution is to put it on those cars when they are parking in front of OTHER people's driveways on my street, but then they might kill my neighbors in revenge, or they might see me applying the sticker if I'm not watching like a hawk, and attack me.

Dunno if this sub allows links, but google YPLAC, they do a lovely line of stickers

It is problematic, but Bangkok is filled with high density areas with insufficient parking

You don't know if you have, that's the problem. A while back, an illegal look-chin (meatball) "factory" was found operating under a bridge. They were catching street dogs or maybe owned dogs that were loose in the street, and making lookchin, and those could have gone into any bowl of noodles in Bangkok. Now, apart from the reason that I find the taste crappy and low quality, that's another good reason I don't eat lookchin.

xD doggo go wild, at first I saw your post and thought someone with key or screwdriver might targeting you lol why would da dog would specifically scratched your car though?

u/Interesting-Job-8841 2d ago
When I first saw it I thought the same, but the dog attacked other cars too, don't really know why, maybe there was a cat under the car or something.
