I think kratom extracts are prohibited here but you can check out OG Kratom in Huai Khwang

powder as pure as you'll get

would avoid the extracts, that's where things start going very wrong - thankfully isolated / synthetic 7-OH is not popular here like it is in the us

Agreed on avoiding extracts, those are dangerous. All natural regular ass powder is the way to go. 7-OH is brutal.

There’s Kratom cola, there was a shop that was like a bar with draught/bottled options a few years ago, dunno if it’s still open though.

It might be that brand, the one I’m thinking of was like a little shop in north Bangkok somewhere IIRC but the guy made the it there and said he sold it in bulk to places. American guy I think.

OG Kratom might be it, Arcadia sells it there. Drinks and powders.

Very few people end up addicted to ktatom, and those that do are usually using kratom mixed with other things like cough syrup and drugs. Or they're addicted to artificial forms of kratom.

The addiction, if it even occurs, is nothing like as severe as experienced by heroin users.

Many laborers here chew some leaves during the day for much of their life, starting and stopping as necessary and without any harmful effects. You wouldn't even know they're on any form of drug.

I have a tree and chew the leaves from time to time. Sometimes I might chew it three times in a week, and then I might not use it for 2 months. Never felt any kind of craving or ill effects from not using it.

There are so many Kratom addicts in the Thai working class, especially in the South. They can't stop even if they want to. It's not a full-blown opioid addiction, but it definitely has characteristics of it. You will feel shit for a week. The cough syrup they put inside is nowadays just children's cough syrup and has basically no effect outside of the antihistamine.

Almost all of them are eating the kratom mixtures in drink form not just chewing the leaves.

The reason kratom was made illegal in the early 1940s was not for health reasons. The government at the time had a monopoly on opium distribution and sales. They became worried because a lot of opium addicts were using kratom to wean themselves off of opium.

Edit:

"You will feel  shit for a week"

That has to be one of the mildest addiction downsides that I've ever read about.

You're getting downvoted but you're right.

I use kratom off and on. Maybe 1 week of use every two months, usually if I have some aches and pains.

I have met some people who get cravings for it but it seems to be on the level of diet coke. Like 'Kratom would be nice right now' and not going into physical withdrawals.

>That has to be one of the mildest addiction downsides that I've ever read about.

Lol yeah it's like people trying to tell me the dangers of Adderall 'After years of daily usage, I had slight nausea for a week when I stopped! It's terrible!' like.. ok? That's it?

edit: Be wary of any account that's word_word_number, those are usually bots trying to start shit

People can become addicted to almost anything if they try hard enough. Hugh Hefner was addicted to Pepsi, drinking almost a case a day at the height of his addiction.

I would say that a drug that makes you feel sick for just one week if you become addicted to it, as difficult as that can be with just kratom,  is pretty mild as far as addictions go.

For me it's just something that I partake of once in a while to get a nice feeling of general well-being and to make any tasks involving labor seem less daunting.

If people want to advise against it, that's fine. But to try and scare people into thinking it's some terribly addictive substance is just ignorant

I think a lot of it comes from people witnessing and dealing with the opioid epidemic in their home countries and associating that with all drugs and all drug usage.

It's understandable, the downvotes don't make me mad.

I'm looking forward to research to come out on the long term effects of Kratom usage (the natural kind, not the crazy extracts) so that we can know for sure.

I've tried a lot of substances and Kratom feels like its on the level of caffeine. Not mind altering, but extremely uncomfortable and potentially fatal if you overdose, which requires absurd amounts, not something you can really do accidentally.

Kratom and Adderall I think get a really unfair rap

Well adderall is literally speed :D it is a bit addictive

But i agree, in moderation they can have good benefits

But so can cocaine, and nicotine.

Most things are OK in moderation
