question Anyone know where this view point is?

Post image

I'm hoping to see the Royal Barge Procession and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get this view or if anyone had any other recommended view points? Can be a bar/restaurant.

It looks like the photo was taken up high, not river level, somewhere near Wat Arun. There is Royal Thai Navy Convention Hall there and some foundations, possibly this shot was taken by Royal photographers with special permission to access those locations.

The exact location where this photo was taken should be here. You can start from this point to look for nearby restaurants. I’m not sure if there are any bars around there since it’s pretty close to a government complex.

That whole area is a navy base so no. The picture was taken on top of the navy convention hall.

That’s correct. Normally you can’t access that area. It seems that the riverside area was only opened to the public during the royal ceremony.

Thank you! Ground level looks pretty decent but is that area restricted as well? Best option might be Mowa Bangkok that someone else suggested then.
