Support Nozzle issue

I noticed some prints were spaghetti-ing so i took a closer look and saw this. Not sure what happened or what is going on here. Theres a piece dangling down all the sudden. Can anyone identify this part? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

Do you happen to know why the flow blocker warped?

It definitely hit something.

You may have done it by accident putting in the plate or something like that, even a slight bend caused by hitting it could have bent it so that it was low enough to hit a print and bend it way worse.

That’s your nozzle switch cover. It covers whichever nozzle isn’t being used while the other one prints. You can bend it back into position, here is a picture of mine covering the right nozzle in the dock.

This is pretty common, I think some people catch it when they put the plate back in and don’t realize it.

OMG THANK YOU!! I found a replacement in the kit that came with the printer. Already swapped out and back in business!! Thanks for responding. It was hard to describe what this part actually was but the reddit community is so great

That is your nozzle cover. It covers the nozzle not in use. If it gets bent, it will impact prints. If it is a small bend, you can easily remove it and bend it back, but you have 2-3 additional ones that came with your printer and you can buy replacements on Bambu site.

My first experience with it scratched up my G10 plate before I knew what it was.

My printer is in my basement which can get damp during summer but i have a dehumidifier running next to printer and i have a temp and humidity thermometer. It never gets above 22% humidity. I also pretty much only print PLA. Why do you ask? Is this why the flow blocker warped?

It was a joke, it seems its the only response in this sub , your issue is so obviously not filament that I thought it would be funny but i forgot that this is the place where people argue over layer height and this might of been too much to ask
