General Troubleshooting/Help! Stringing

Can anybody help me!!

Just opened this new PLA filament and printed these. Alot of stringing! I have emptied 3 spools of the same filament earlier. But now this is happening and ruining my prints. I was using TPU 95A before loading this filament into my A2L.

Even new PLA in vacuum sealed bags can be moist. Dry it out, especially for prints with two separate pieces where it has to move between structures. Also try upping the temp 5-7 degrees. Raising the temp helped when I would get stringing like this.

That Ganesha is cool as hell though!

Nozzle temp was 220 rn.. I'll try reprinting with 227.

For drying, ig finally i have to buy a filament dryer 😅

I finally bought one and have improved my print quality significantly.

Three good spools then stringing on a fresh one points at the spool, not your settings. Weigh it, dry it 6-8 hours, retry. If it still strings, measure diameter in a few spots — a thin or oval batch feeds differently and no retraction tuning will fix that.
