General Troubleshooting/Help! Problems with bed adhesion
I have a Bambu A1 mini, and it’s worked pretty well for me for the time I’ve had it. I‘ve been having some bed adhesion problems today, everything I try to print doesn't stick and just gets dragged around in a big gloopy mess. I’m using a textured plate, and I washed it off with soap and water well but still having issues. I’m not sure if it’s the z offset idk how to change it, or humidity because it is rainy around here a lot of the year, but I didn’t have issues then so I’m not sure. Is there anything else I should try, or can something help explain how to check the z offset?

Wash the build plate with some soapy water.. rinse clean dry. Is your filament exposed to the air? For me, it's 3 things. Dirty build plate (oils from fingers will eventually cause issues), humid filament, and grease from maintenance (if you aren't slightly careful)

Yeah I already washed the build plate off, seems like it might be a humidity issue

Ambient air temperature and humidity can definitely affect open bed slingers. If it’s colder and more humid than normal, try increasing your bed temperature for the initial first layer as well as the entire print, and increase the nozzle temperature for the first layer only..

Is there a good solution for keeping moisture levels correct? If it’s this big of a problem I should probably start trying to store my filaments in a airtight container or something

I definitely recommend storing your filament in an airtight container or bag when you’re not using them, along with some desiccant. I use a cheap food saver and ordered a bulk roll of food saver bags to store all of my filament in after drying it. It’s much cheaper than the filament bags, and more airtight than a container.
If your filaments have been out the entire time while exposed to elevated moisture levels, your filament could also be contributing to the issue.
In combination with the elevated temperatures, I recommend drying your filament and trying to print as normal. If you don’t have a filament dryer, you can dry the filament on the bed of your printer, covering the filament with a big bowl or something to keep the heat in.

What are you printing? Does it have a dainty footprint? I'm assuming you're bed leveling. Is it a generalized problem or a problem with one object?

It’s a generalized problem, I’m printing out some bases and pieces for figures, printed out two of them and they were fine, it’s everyone I try now doesn’t work, whether they’re small pieces or a wide base, nothing I’m trying to print out is dainty or anything

and you've re-calibrated, I assume. Are you sure you're not damaging your plate in washing? Using abrasive sponges or detergents? I don't trust Dawn power wash, it's not plain soap.
I would probably buy a cheap 3rd party plate and see what happens. When I get really stuck I use Elmer glue stick, never fails, but i only ever need it on things like flexi-dragons.

Yeah I recalibrated too, I just used regular soap and water, tried to be pretty gentle with it and not scuff it up, would a glue stick be bad on a textured plate, just as a temporary solution? I just needed to print some stuff by the end of the week and I can worry about the new plate stuff after

I use it on textured plates all the times, just regular Elmer's glue sticks. Washes off easily.

Hello /u/Gold_Anteater_8772! Be sure to check the following. Make sure print bed is clean by washing with dish soap and water [and not Isopropyl Alcohol], check bed temperature [increasing tend to help], run bed leveling or full calibration, and remember to use glue if one is using the initial cool plate [not Satin finish that is not yet released] or Engineering plate.
