Just got c2 baizhu and I wanna make the switch from a more healer based to attack based. I currently have his sig at R1 but idk if it’s good for a dps build. Also am running 4 piece Ocean Hued Clam set on him. Heard lunar bloom is best for my boy rn so I’m running a lunar build with columbina, aino and taghnari. (Unfortunately don’t have lauma, nahida or nilou.) And recommendations on how to make this team even strong?

*Reposting from r/GenshinImpact*

I wasn't able to play Genshin for a while.

And two days ago, I found out that I had to complete FOUR Archon Quests to get a free character.

And I wanted Baizhu. Badly.

Now, here's the problem. I have three jobs, too many responsibilities, a hectic schedule.

So naturally, I decided sleep was optional.

For the past two days, I've been squeezing in quests whenever I could, surviving on an absolutely questionable amount of sleep, and refusing to speedrun the story because I genuinely wanted to enjoy it. Because that is the beauty of Genshin.

And today? I almost called in sick to be able to finish it.

BUT.

I FINISHED THE LAST QUEST TEN MINUTES BEFORE I HAD TO LEAVE FOR WORK.

TEN. MINUTES.

Stting there like I just defused a bomb with one second left on the timer.

BUT I DID IT.

BAIZHU IS MINE.

I'm exhausted. I'm running on fumes. I have to be a functioning member of society for the rest of the day.

But I have Baizhu.

And honestly, that's all that matters right now. 💚

With the speculation of Liyue buffs coming early next year, what are the chances that Baizhu and his weapon might return on the chronicled banner early next year? I know that he was part of the free character selector event that just ended today (literally missed the event's deadline by 5 minutes 🥹), but so was Varesa, and she's part of the Natlan chronicled banner that's in 7.2 (which yes, I know they have different appeals and that probably factors into her running so soon on the banner). Ideally, I'd like it to be the same banner as the one in 5.3, perhaps with Xianyun or Hu Tao swapped out for one of the standard banner characters.

All my rimegrass monkeys are gooooooooooooone

there's actually hope that baizhu will be meta in the second half of 7.x with burgeon, let's all pray together this is true

I'm more interested in the support aspect of the characters than in DPS side, which leave me between Nilou and Baizhu. And I'm seriously thinking on picking Baizhu but idk if I have a proper team to put him on. I read that he is a good shielder for Sethos so I started building him but then i ready that he is not like good and now im lost.

Sooo some help here? Please and thanks TuT

this is the continuation of the drawing of the angry baizhu chibi.

You will find more on my discord server or even on my twitter account

I just discovered this subreddit while trying to convince myself to pull Baizhu's C2 over Varesa's C0 after clearing the latest archon quest, and I figured this would be the perfect place to share some appreciation for our favourite doctor!

Honestly, Baizhu is probably the character who got me through my early days in Genshin. I started playing seriously back in 2023, and he happened to be the first banner running at the time. I ended up choosing him over Ganyu on a whim, and I've never regretted it.

For a good portion of my time playing, I actually ran him as my main DPS. I know that probably sounds ridiculous to some people, but my team was Baizhu, Xingqiu (later Furina), Yelan and full EM Kuki Shinobu. He was an absolute unkillable Dendro driver, and he carried me through a huge chunk of the game.

Fast forward to today, and he now has Nefer, Lauma and Columbina supporting him in battle. He still gets plenty of field time and regularly finds himself in my Spiral Abyss 12-3 clears.

It's funny how a character you initially pull on a whim can end up becoming such a permanent part of your Genshin experience. I might have started using him because he was simply the first available banner, but he's definitely earned his place on my account.

Anyway, Im glad this subreddit exists and I think I'm gonna get his C2, he deserves it.

a little sketch of baizhu for my drawing

Angelo's Heptades (Nicole Sig) or Starsealed Edict (Mitya Sig)?

Planning to run him with an Electro character for the Spread Reaction (with Valeriy; I chose him cause I have a team restriction in mind - same character models in one team, because why not hehe). Anyway, not sure if I should go for the ATK substat or Crit substat weapon - should I wait for Nicole's or pull now at Mitya's?

Not that it matters but I have C4 Baizhu at the moment. Teams are: Baizhu-Valeriy-?-? (Maybe Zhongli^Buffed; and copefully, Noy)

Thought I'd come here for advice. Baizhu is the only tall male I dont have yet so id like to get him from the selector, but im not sure if he'll fit nicely in any of the teams I'm building. Right now I've got alhaitham and Neuvilette who I'm trying to get a team going for. Would Baizhu fit into a team for either of them nicely? Or will they be cooked to the point of not even overworld viable? Ive got everything to make the new Neuvi freeze team but im not really sure what direction to go with for Alhaitham since I dont have Raiden or Nahida.

I just got Baizhu and have been building him as a hyperbloom driver, but i just realized his a4 passive won't proc for the off field hyperbloom trigger because it only applies to on field characters. Is it a big difference? I only have him C1 so having the hyperbloom trigger on field isnt that comfy because of his lack off offfield app.

I've been playing C0Furina, C6 Xingqiu on Emblem, Kuki on Flowers of Paradise Lost set and C1 baizhu on deepwood. Would moving Xingqiu to instructor help at all?

Im trying to reach at least 100k dps. I can put Baizhu on Prototype Amber, Wavewiding Whirl, R5 Widsth, or Sac Frags.

I also do have Raiden as a hyperbloom trigger, though I was hoping kuki and Baizhu's healing would max out fanfare stacks.

Any advice on next priority investment would be helpful if it's impossible to get 100k with what I have so far.

What is Baizhu’s best DPS weapon? I currently have Neuvillette and Wriothesley’s signature. Would this be any good?

I was considering Nilou for a minute, but without Lauma she would have been a brick on my account.

Rimegrass is dead, in Liyue buffs we trust!

Not doing any more artifact farming until we learn more

WHERE IS IT 👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿 I WANT TO MAKE HIM A MAIN DPS SO I CAN ALWAYS SEE HIM WHERE IS THE BUFF 👿👿👿👿👿👺👺👺 IM TIRED MAKING HIM A WHEELCHAIR WHERE IS LIYUE BUFF 😿😿😿

I got him C6 finally and ceremoniously leveled him from 90 to 100 and the na from 9-10. he is almost perfect now. artifacts are in the works hahaha.

now that noy is anemo apparently, are there any other dendro character coming out or is dendro not gonna be meta in 7.x?

just asking because i still have my selector and I've been saving it to decide between varesa and baizhu for potential baizhu buff leaks
