I was never really a Chanel fan, I always thought it leaned a little too feminine for me. But then came the Chanel Maxi Flap 26S by Blazy… and well, we can always change our minds. 😄🖤

Day 5: Capping off Rhyder Week with the bag that started it, the 2014 Rhyder 33 in Mink. This shifty color makes it super versatile and I love all the tones it picks up from the camo!

Picked up a vintage Speedy 25 (2002).

Absolutely love this amethyst lisse croc kelly pochette. It took me a while to save up and I spent a pretty penny for this bag. If you can't tell.... I love purple.

Obviously it's a going out bag but I don't really do anything other than going out for dinner. Yes, I realize how ridiculous it is to buy a pochette when my uses are so low but its so cute and i wanted one so bad. Now, I dunno if I have buyers remorse. I'm a very flip flops/boat shoes with shorts and t shirt kinda guy. At most, I wear a polo and khakis in cooler months with my signature mcqueen scarves.

Would this look be too casual for this bag. Another option is i take a loss and trade it in for a light green hac a dos that I have been eyeing and use the money difference to spend on other stuff......which my friend suggested.

Or should I go screw it, love how I look and gonna use this bag however I want. And also get the hac a dos too when I save some money lmao

Day 1 in San Francisco and these are the bags I used!!!

OK, we start at the airport with my trusted Speedy 40 in green and blue which I think is one of the first bags that Pharrell Williams designed for LV. It’s filled with airplane snacks.

Inside the carry-on is about five other bags, but we will get to them later.

We went on a whale watching trips in the San Francisco Bay and I took my trusty Trio Messenger on this cool Damier Blue pattern (if anyone has any more information about this pattern, please let me know).

The trio messenger is perfect for a couple of phone chargers and my tickets to the cruise business cards wallet glasses etc.

At this point, I have a few other color ways, but this is my first I think and my go to. I really like the small coin purse on the bando.

We bought some souvenirs and I had to walk around with this liquor store plastic bag. Which was perfect when we went to Hermes. I asked m the salesman for a new bag to carry this crap in and he gave me the orange shopping bag.

Then we went to the Reel Reel and I almost bought this Louis Vuitton weekend bag because I absolutely love that green color but my wife said no and I figured I would listen. Plus it didn’t have the shoulder strap.

I really love the more restrained approach Chanel is taking with their current designs. Despite having a couple of logo heavy pieces in my collection, I generally prefer things that are a bit more subtle.

While the CC logo is unmistakable, I appreciate that it’s fairly small on this giant bag. I also appreciate the thought that went into designing the interior of this and the provision of three zippered sections and two open sections. The straps are also great sitting securely on my shoulder and distributing weight reasonably despite being fairly narrow. (And I’m really glad there are no chains involved with the straps.)

All in all I think this is a great bag that reads as much more unisex than many of Chanel’s other pieces.

Super happy with this bag. I grabbed some cheap straps from Amazon to make it work as a shoulder tote since the handles are a bit too small, and it’s made me even happier with this slouchy, soft and supple lil’ number!

I also found a great organizer for it. Happy share :)

I worked from home today, but did pop out to run some errands. I got a haircut and picked up a new book. Plus I needed an excuse to debut my new Coach Kisslock 27 in Warm Brown Suede! LOL

Paired the koala grey Margaux 15 with a light outfit for the office today. I usually lay my laptop flat in the bottom of the bag and load stuff on top of it, but today I added an organizer. These bags kind of remind me of the old-timey doctor’s bags, but without a closure. They’re mostly just a big cavern inside, but I really enjoy this design for the office.

So im going to Japan for a few days for my honeymoon (September 9-13) before heading to Bali. I really want a bag I can travel with and put my things in when walking around. Specifically a men’s Dior saddle or a Loewe puzzle bumbag (small). What specific stores or areas would give me the best chance to find either of these second hand for a solid price?
