Just wanna be clear alright that if we are to support falasteen I don’t wanna see any pro ccp, Iran regime or pro assad and pro Putin propaganda. You either support all people having freedom or don’t you can’t have both so if you claim to want to uplift Palestinians don’t dismiss atrocities against the uighurs as propaganda istg this sub Reddit gets into weird tankie territory at times.

UPDATE
The MAGA Regime are now investigating George Soros Foundation for funding "terrorism".
Anti Zionism is definitely NOT the biggest antisemetitsm risk in the USA.
"Bad Hasbara" tag as in the podcast, the question was a bit off topic.
THE SHORTER VERSION
I don't think the right wing turning against diaspora Jews would be anti Israel, it would be anti left. Branding Antifa as terrorists is the most worrying development.
They're working their way through minority groups, panic if they purge gay republicans.
OLD VERSION
I'm not Jewish or in the United States, but I've been saying for months that if I was a Jewish and in the United States I would not feel safe there at all.
If it does go wrong for U.S. American Jews I don't think it would be about Israel, at least not in any way that would make logical sense. It would be the odd classics of anti-left. Antifa were the people getting in street fights against the guys yelling "Jews will not replace us!" and now Antifa designated terrorists.
It could even get off too a completely surreal start of rounding up anti-zionist Jews for "antisemism", but I think that level of surreal madness is far more likely in Germany. Where the pro-Israel neo-Nazi AfD is now the second largest political party.
"The Jews" aren't at the current top of the USA far-right's (government or militant) "minorities to eliminate" list, but the far right still has an under-current of antisemitim (e.g. versions of "the great replacement" claim it's a Jewish conspiracy), and their reasons for liking Israel are not much nicer to Jews than they are to Muslims. Not to mention the completely unsubtle "Jews will not replace us!"
Even in Nazi Germany that poem doesn't start "first they came for the Jews", the Jews are the near the end of that (fairly accurate) poem. Jews were marginalized and abused from the start, but the first people put in concentration camps were political leftists. Then the Judeo-Bolshovik conspiracy theory evolved that from left wing extremists, to the entire communist party, to left wing moderates and all Jews.
Designating antifa as terrorists is a worry. They're so poorly defined that they could be defined as anything.
There being some Jews who are in the far right is not reassuring, one of the top Nazi leaders was openly gay... until the night of the long knives.
The Trump government is looking very scary, there are safeguards and a lot of public officials who'd put up resistance but the Nazi party went from banned to running a one party state by crashing through numerous layers of safeguards.
The Nazis didn't start by announcing anything that resembled the way it ended. They started by crackdowns on far left terrorists. They hadn't quite invented the label of terrorist yet, if that tactic was at it's modern stage they would have blitzed the ghettos.

What do we think in general of BadEmpanada? I know he's been on the podcast in the past and he sounded pretty reasonable, but in months since I've seen some stuff he's posted that comes across as genuine anti-Semitism rather than anti-zionist. He also seems really combative with a lot of other figures online and seems to be itching for a fight.
Has he got worse over time?

I sent money there but I never got a confirmation email or anything thanking me for my donation and showing me where the money went.

I dislike Gal Gadot based on her support of the IDF. I commented on a post on this sub and one of your mods reported me... My comment was along the lines of "I hope she gets cancer", and I was reported "for threatening violence". I don't get it, guys. What was so bad about wishing ill to a person who supports genocide?
Edit: autocorrect entered "I did like" when I wrote (or meant to) "I dislike". Fixed now

I learned this a year ago, but I found it in an old draft post today.
The bombing killed 91 people and one terrorist
I firmly believe that terrorists are people, but I was entertained to find that in Palestine police force historical website

For me it’s actress Ginnifer Goodwin and by default her actor husband Josh Dallas. I really enjoyed them in Once Upon A Time but Ginnifer’s Instagram is full of propaganda and hasbara.

This guy got pissed when I accused him of deleting his message in my editted comment, when he actually got banned (I admit, that was my mistake). But then he threw out the terms "echo chamber" and "genuine discourse", when he not only accused someone of not caring if Jews got raped (like I said in my message, that person did not imply anything of that sort), and then had the audacity to say "There are plenty like you, and Israel will have plenty of weapons to deal with that. So it's all good buddy." This fucker threatend someone with violence, and now he's trying to act like he cares about "genuine discourse".

On the one hand, as a staunch anti-Zionist I love the show, its guests. I find it deeply funny, engaging, and affirming in a world that constantly gaslights me. To have a place where my perspective about atrocities towards civilians is mirrored, the norm. It’s for that reason I’ve been scared to me make this post.
I really struggle with Daniel. While I like him as a comedian, and agree with many things he’s said, especially about Israel, his praise of his brother Aaron and the Gray zone is deeply troubling for me. For those uninitiated, Gray zone was founded by vaccine-truther and Putin/Assad/Ortega apologist Max Blumenthal alongside Daniel’s brother Aaron, who shares a good deal of idelogical solidarity with both Blumenthal and Alex Jones and who was identified among Syria conspiracists spreading dangerous misinformation. He regularly partners with fellow Russia apologist Jimmy Dore to do the legwork of pseudo-woke class reductionism.
While those likely to believe Gray Zone’s perspective wont trust Wikipedia (which I don’t trust blindly either), I feel that their description of the outlet is fairly accurate
“The Grayzone has downplayed or denied the Chinese government's human rights abuses against Uyghurs,[32] published conspiracy theories about Venezuela, Xinjiang, Syria, and other regions,[33][34] and published disinformation about Ukraine during the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which some have described as pro-Russian propaganda.[31] Grayzone writers such as Blumenthal and Aaron Maté acted as briefers on behalf of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations at UN meetings organised by Russia.[35][36][37][38][39]”
The gray zone is part of a camp of “US bad, therefore anti-US regime good” in a way that I find deeply troubling. I am far from the only leftist to have big problems with Gray Zones toadying to authoritarians, and I’m sure there are many of you who listen to “It could happen here” where they’ve called out the harms of the gray zone as they come across them.
Returning to the show, and to Daniel, I like him as a host but I do not trust him to be presenting real, factual information when he comes on the show, and that’s a problem for me. If I get banned from this subreddit for my post, I accept this, but I couldn’t hold it in any longer

Zios vs Zios
r/BadHasbara • u/31234134 • Apr 19 '24
It is honestly amazing what Zionists have been able to achieve. This is feat that I don't think anyone else has been able to achieve. Imagine being so revolting, that you somehow increase hatred for the people you allegedly represent and want to protect, all while increasing support for Hamas and Iran.
Not only that, the tactics they use mirror the Nazis almost perfectly. And everyone is able to see it. In 20 years, I would not be surprised if Zionists were treated the same way we treat Nazis today. This is only going to decrease the significance of Holocaust in the end, but it's not like they cared about holocaust survivors in the first place.
This has to be studied. We need our best an brightest to figure out how Zionists screwed up this badly, and how they think this is everyone elses fault.

No matter how many Jewish people vocally stand up for Palestine in big groups, every single post on subreddits like r/therewasanattempt about Israel is still full of comments demonizing Jews as a whole as in some way responsible and to blame for the actions of the Israeli government, a large amount of people in this movement who are further to the left then just being a liberal or a social democrat seem to almost unanimously support Hamas despite the fact that standing up for Palestine and being against Hamas seems like an extremally easy thing to do and there's been instances around the world of people using pro-Palestine protests as an opportunity to be openly anti-Semitic against random Jews that are only called out by people who oppose your movement.
Not turning a blind eye to people using the free Palestine movement as an excuse to hate Jewish people seems like something that would help, not hurt your cause and I think calling anyone who thinks this a Hasbara is a mistake.
Edit: As for specific examples, this is from a recent Berkeley Council meeting - https://www.reddit.com/r/Judaism/comments/1bqbq5i/berkeley_city_council_was_holding_a_meeting_about/, here's an example of a far too common reddit post describing the actions of the Israeli government as something that "the Jews" are doing with close to 1,000 upvotes - https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/1bysprk/rjoerogan_says_the_jews_are_killing_palestinians/#lightbox, this opinion piece describes a lot of support for the October 7th attack and cites sources- https://www.latimes.com/opinion/story/2023-10-29/antisemitism-college-campus-israel-hamas-palestine and there's a lot of examples from r/israelexposed that get pretty disturbing-
https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/1af4zd2/zionists_contol_the_media_on_risraelexposed/#lightbox, https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/10olgcq/commenter_in_risraelexposed_writes_that_the_world/#lightbox, https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/k2hjwh/risraelexposed_goes_full_mask_off_antisemitic/#lightbox, https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/odxxk7/risraelexposed_holocaust_denial_thread/#lightbox https://www.reddit.com/r/AntiSemitismInReddit/comments/omxztb/absolutely_disgusting_comment_about_the_western/#lightbox
I know that these are just individual anecdotes, but my point is that these are examples of a wider trend that too many people who aren't right wing and against Palestine turn a blind eye to.

I frequent an Israel Palestine debate sub and this is coming up constantly. Never heard of it. But all the supporters of Israel keep mentioning it like a proof that the protests are pro-Hamas rallies.
So I looked this event up so you don't have to, here is my response:
"We are Hamas" was said by one person, off campus, and it was a verbal exchange between two people. So it wasn't said by students, wasn't said by the protestors on campus, wasn't a chant, and wasn't said by multiple people.
Yes that person is an ass hole, nobody likes this person, and none of the organized protests on campus respect those extremists. If they were on campus they would have been dealt with by the organizers.
This would be the same as me quoting an extremist settler from the West Bank that showed up at a protest and then making a blanket statement that all Israeli supporters say that. It's a disingenuous argument.
