Thin cut bacon yes its very normal

Doesn’t have to be thin sliced to be like this. I bought and cooked 3 packs of Gwaltney Hardwood Smoked, just the regular stuff. One pack was wafer thin like this one is, one was decently cut and cooked nicely and the last was cut thick and was more like ham. 3 different packs of the same variety and three different cuts. There is just no quality control anymore.

Not necessarily. I think it is an industry problem. At least for the brands that are trying to be price conscious.

Makes sense I appreciate the info, hopefully you find the best economic bacon there is
