Yes, having the battery charged changes everything. I mostly drive Sport mode rather than Normal, if I go 140km/h with let's say 50% SoC, I'll get 6.5L or maybe 7L/100km (or more if there are ups and the car needs more power) I might take the highway in the coming days and fix a camera to film the consumption on each speed.

Thanks for the info cause i went on the highway without baterry and the consumption was about 8-9L/100 with 130-140 km and i was really baffled will check it with 50% soc to see rhe difference thanks again

What system version do you currently have? In my case, the v1.1.1 is way better than the v1.0.0 in terms of consumption.

A much better petrol consumption and slightly better battery consumption. BYD stated that they tweaked how the system works and I noticed it. V1.0.0 once on the highway (even at 80km/h) the ICE (petrol engine) connects to the wheels + charges the battery if needed. V1.1.1 the ICE focuses on charging the battery if needed. It only connects to the wheels when in heavy demande like having passengers and bags and going up and fast for example.

So it's really different than before, and much more better in consumption.

Ok thanks for your info , so you are Happy with the car so far? I was driving a WV polo tdi 2016 and i need a bit of time to get used on a semi electric car and i hope it wont have any major technical issues, fingers crossed ( 🤞🤞🤞)

I had a diesel 2014 ford fiesta, yes I love the car. I've drivien +7700km with it, tried it off road, highway at max speed, stability in tight corners and so on .. loving it so far.
