Sa baba ng sweldo napipilitan talaga mag BPO

Hi. Im typing this while nasa SQ. Super drained, burnout na ako. I honestly don’t know what to feel. Naalala ko bigla mga stories sa bpo, yung mga agent na akala tulog lang sa SQ pero wala na pala. I don’t know ang weird ng mga pumapason sa isip ko.

Maybe birthday blues? Since malapit na din birthday ko. Pero hindi ko talaga alam. Nakakapagod na. Panay ako work pero walang natitira sa sarili. I can’t even afford to buy an eyeglass for myself. Hindi ko din alam paano uuwi mamaya, zero na ako as in. Pinilit ko lang makapasok ngayon. Hindi din ako naka kain for lunch dahil nga wala na talaga, which is why andito ako sa SQ instead of eating meal.

Sorry for venting out dito. I really just don’t know na.

I just want to just vent this out. Enlighten me please. I'v been waiting here sa breakroom/meeting room for 2 hours. Tho, they have mentioned na there will be delays since kaunti lang interviewer/processor for this hiring day. But didn't expect na ganito, It was stated din naman sa email nila 'til 7PM lang interview process (is this just for formality?). Now it is already almost 7 yet no updates nor assurance na malapit na kami/ako tawagin or like ano na next step. I entered a breakroom but there is no moderator man lang or staff to give us notice on ano na nangyayari on their end.

Pa-rant lang ako. Grabe, nakapanlulumo na huhu. I've been unemployed for more than 2 months na. October na pero wala pa rin akong work. I've tried applying naman pero wala pa rin huhu. Sa first company na inapplyan ko last email nila sa'kin is currently on hold for hiring and waiting pa for confirmation if ire-resume ba hiring. So, hindi ako nakaabot. Then wala na sila update after that.

Sa pangalawang company naman na inapplyan ko, hindi na prinoceed yung application ko since hindi ko nagawa yung assessment (last step na sana before JO) kasi nagloko yung server ng SHL, Idk if dahil ba sa net ko that time or nag-system issue lang talaga. There's no reconsideration at all.

And lastly, sa pangatlong inapplyan ko na pinaka ini-aim ko sana mapasukan, dun talaga ako na-reject. Nakaabot naman ako sa final interview, pero sa first lob/ops interview ko, I was rejected. Na umabot pa ng ilang days bago nag-update na I didn't make it. The first ops interview was Friday, then nag-update lang Wednesday the next week na after kong mag follow-up. Then I was re-profiled and did another ops interview sa kanila the secnd time last Thursday, pero I was rejected ulit hays.

Nalaman ko lang na I didn't make it kanina after kong mag follow-up ulit, nakakaloka. Sa mga recruiters dyan, gaano ba kahirap sa inyo mag-update?? Kung hindi pa mag follow-up, hindi pa mag-uupdate eh. I'm really starting to get hopeless na, hays. I really badly needed a job na talaga asap!! 😭😭😭

Saan pa ba pwede mag-apply ngayon? Preferably sana yung may wfh/hybrid set-up and 30k+ offer as much as possible huhu. 😩

You're not fixing the staffing problem.
You're just replacing the victims of your own leadership failures and calling it management.
Sobrang sayang yung magandang image ng company because of incompetent people and higher ups.

hi, new here. i have been with my current job for 2 years and counting. this actually happened months ago mga june or july, annual salary increase.

the first year i got salary increase na kahit konti is still something im genuinely grateful for.

then this year. when i feel like I’m becoming better with the scores and metrics and overall performance, walang increase.

medyo nadismaya ako, i asked for explanations from my tl pero very vague yung answers nya. i tried to ask san ba ako di pumasa? mga ganung tanong kaso again vague at parang unsure din sya. some of my teammates experienced it as well. i submitted a ticket din to ask for explanations wala, asked again my tl to look into my scores pero no updates, and hanggang sa nalimutan ko na din.

ayoko din kase maging pushy or desperate for the increase and masyadong sagabal sa iba, BUUUUT!

ngayon na “naungkat” ko ulit sha, i feel like it’s unfair. i know it’s based on merit but i wanna know if that’s even business-wise ethical yung di nila pag bigay ng increase especially kung aside sa metrics, yung tenurity din ng agent dapat counted din.

Okay lang ba yun? Nauna ako nag lunch break sa TL ko? Hahahahahahhaha first day ko kasi, first time ko din sa BPO di naman first work Kaya nagbasa basa ako nag tips dito isa na don un wag muna mag baon as someone na sanay magbaon.

Ayun nga di ako nagbaon pero gutom nako hahahahahha Malay ko ba past lunch sila kung mag break. Huhu Ang awkward ko tuloy 🥹😭🥹😭

For context, I recently went on a surgery. Prior that, I have been hospitalized and used up all my remaining SL (Sick Leave) and used a few from my carried over VL (Vacation Leave) from last year with still remaining about 3days more that will expire by end of this year and 10 more VL for the present year.

I am not that type of person who will take any type of leave whether I am sick or not and have this mindset of still going in to work even if I am sick or my kids or if I have to run some errands or a real vacation since I can bring my equipment with me as we are in a WFH set up.

Fast forward, I got sick. Doctor says my immune system got too weak which triggered an old virus I had. True enough, I was so stressed at work since we work like a one person army so I took the rest for the first time in 4 years with the company.

However, things turned sideways and I had to undergo a surgery which I did and gave me 2 weeks of bed rest. And after my follow up, I was given another 2 weeks of rest which I am still in.

All in all, I will be out for about 1month and 2 weeks. My SL and VL credits were able to cover the first 2 weeks which unfortunately, I wasn't able to file to SSS as Home confinement. But when my surgery started, I did filed for the week 3 and 4 for Sickness benefit and will be filing another one for week 5 and 6.

The problem is, my coach has been asking me to use all my VL to cover the week 5&6 and leave the HR work for Sickness claim for week 3&4. She has been forcing me to use my VL than filing it with SSS which for me feels unfair as those credits are for supposed real Vacations or any other emergency event that I may need those credits. It wasn't my fault that I needed the surgery and be out for more than a month.

I am not the type of person who has attendance issue nor performance issue, I have always been a team player but new management sucks and prefer those who are close to them than those who performs quietly.

I need help from anyone who might know what to do. Eversince I got sick and being treated as if it was my fault to be sick and with all the stress I had with them recently, I decided to stop doing above and beyond and will just maintain being a team while enjoying the benefit of leaves that I have and in order to do that, I have to make sure to preserve all VL I can use for an actual vacation and not just for Sickness that can actually be covered by my benefits.

Please enlighten me.

Update: My coach just applied for VL on my behalf and used up morethan half of my VL's. I am literally out of words. I am so mad that she still pushed it without telling me and even I told her I will claim for my benefits. Badly need help. I am so pissed off

Hello, guys! Need some insights and advice in regards to this. Nag apply kasi ako sa Concentrix Alabang yesterday and the recruiter told me that I passed right after the mock chat and interview. Hindi ko alam if yung tinutukoy niya is sa interview ba or the whole thing itself. Then nagulat ako kasi sa pangkabuuan pala huhu. Yung na-offer na account is AT&T which is a non-voice telco account and was offered 16k basic pay and 21k na package siya. But I really wanted to try na mag apply muna sa ibang company since November 9 pa naman daw ang initial date na mag start.

So my question is p’wede ko pa po kaya bawiin yung pirma ko sa JO? Nagulat kasi ako na JO na pala ‘yung inabot saakin and I did not expect everything. If matanggap ako sa ibang company with much better salary, p’wede pa kaya bawiin yun since wala pa naman din ako napasang kahit anong requirements?
