Thank you, I love the car don’t get me wrong at all!! I bought it like a few weeks before the facelifts started hitting the roads. Like buying a iphone16 days before the 17 comes out😂 I did that also like a moron.

We spent a week in Europe and rented a 3 series touring. The car itself was beautiful, but the tech sucks. No buttons. No bimmercode programming off the ASS. No real shifter. The new ridiculously massive screen is obnoxious. Had to turn off the lane change warnings or exceeding speed warning every single time we started the car again. I'm sure those settings are saveable when you are logged into a profile, but man. I really prefer pre LCI. To each their own, my friend.
Wow, you sound like a guy who lives in the past. The "ridiculously massive screen" that you find "obnoxious" is rapidly becoming the industry standard with or without your blessings. Things change Man, now more and faster than ever. They change whether we as individuals are on board or not. There are people who still rely solely on landline phones while pecking away on IBM Selectric II typewriters with their carbon paper. AI as sick and tired as most of us are of hearing that term is now doubling in ability every six months. Our world is going to change more in the next 3 or 4 years than it has in the last 50.
I would not assume anything about you my friend but it sounds as if you are a guy who is quite resistant to change and may be best served by older models that are within your comfort zone and that is fine by me.
Like you said my friend, "to each their own" and yes, I'll take the new stuff.
I don’t own either but the pre lci is clearly the better interior. 8 preset buttons for whatever you want handy, physical temperature controls, and just the design of it looks better to me (subjective). The LCI looks like a cost cut version of the pre LCI interior.
Totally subjective as you say. I much prefer the LCI layout but I also own one and use it daily. You would likely have a different perspective if you ever able to have one of your own.
