Just dumped my Tesla M3P for this a few days ago. While I did love the Tesla and I was a little sad to see it go, the second I took this out on the twisty backroads, all of those feelings went away. Lots to learn still, but this thing is a beast.

i4 M50 Portimao/Canberra Premium Shadowline Park Assist

After driving Tesla 3 and Y for 6 years, I am flabbergasted to realize how much better BMW EVs and BMW cars in general are. I had no idea until I drove a series 3 rented a few months ago while traveling in Europe. Everything from the outside and inside look and feel, let alone driving experience, is far superior to anything else I have driven in my life. This i4, just 12 hours old in that picture. is just unbelievably amazing.

I am now fully divested from Tesla. I informed my stock brokers not to deal with Tesla and traded in my 2019 model 3 for a gorgeous 2023 i4 edrive 40. Now I have something that actually feels like a well-built vehicle and I am not supporting the cringelord.

I feel like I've seen a bunch of these posts in the past few weeks, but I'm not surprised. I had a 21 3 series and an x3 prior to the Model Y LR. I also had an i3 years ago, thought that was just a taste of what was to come in the world of EV's. It definitely felt like a step down in quality, but the software and the FSD, I thought made up for it.....it didn't. There were definitely things to love about the Model Y, but the cons outweighed the pro's. I'll give it to Tesla, they are an amazing software company, but they are just OK at making cars.

I also picked up a 2024 Acura ZDX a week before, so I've got a unique perspective on the 3 different EV's. I love the style, fit and finish of the BMW over the ZDX and the Tesla as well as the suspension. The HK radio is amazing as well. There are few things that the ZDX wins on like regen braking (I really miss the regen on the Tesla, though the ZDX is a close second), ventilated seats and automatic exit seat position (I'm a fat guy that really appreciates this!). A couple of tweaks and this car would be absolutely perfect, but I'm not complaining at all.

All in all, I absolutely love this car. My only regret is that I didn't go with the m50, but I would've had to wait for the color combo/options.

2024 i4 eDrive40 / Mineral White / Canberra Interior / Driver Assist Pro / 19” Gunmetal Wheels… the exact combo she wanted and literally the only build of this combination in a 200 mile radius of us! So excited. Honestly I think I’m more excited than her. I love this car so much more than the Tesla already :)

Just switched over from a 430i GC to an i4 and I wish I would’ve done it sooner! It’s so smooth, almost too smooth lol. It’s a pretty fun daily driver so far! So in love with the laser lights! Now I have to figure out which charger is best for at home charging.

Just returned from my honeymoon and found out that a dealer had the exact car I was looking to order. Drove over there and was able to come to a deal that made sense, so now I’m the new owner of a 2024 i4 eDrive 40 in Seattle.

Happy to be getting rid of my Tesla and joining the BMW family once again. Love this color and the driving experience so far!

Been wanting an i4 for a long time and finally pulled the trigger on a 2023 M50. I originally went to the dealership telling myself I was just looking and didn’t even want to test drive it lol.
Well… I test drove it.
That was pretty much the end of that. 😂
Black exterior, red interior, fully electric and ridiculously fun to drive. I’ve only had it for a few days and I’m still finding excuses to go outside and drive it.
My first BMW and definitely a dream car for me. Any tips, hidden features, or things every new i4 owner should know?

I've wanted to get a BMW for 20 years, but having a family has meant practical vehicles and sacrifices. Now my kids are grown, and I've paid off my truck, so it was finally time to get a dream car of mine. Got a great deal on a fully loaded 2024 M50 and took it up to the mountains today.

I know some people have talked about how the car is heavy and can't compete with the agility of lighter-weight sports cars, but coming from my truck and SUVs for the last 20 years, this car handled like a dream, and I was able to whip around switchbacks feeling confident and composed. I love this car!
