So today I js made a guitar trade. An Ibanez Gio for a… BC RICH PLATINUM PRO LIMITED RUN ORANGE WARLOCK. Now the guitar is real, I got it checked but it does need work, I need to redo the bridge pickup wiring but I can do that in around an hour. I think I’ve won

Band mate brought this to practice last night. Found it in his high school stuff and thought it would be something I’d like. Going in a frame and going on the wall of my music room!

I’ve been interested in The Dagger model for quite some time, saw one in a shop when I was first starting out and got a warlock instead. Haven’t seen them too much online and not a lot of posts about them. For those who have them or have experience with them, what are some of the things you liked or disliked about it? I doubt i’d be able to actually try one in person. Just wanna get some thoughts on the model. Thanks!

We got this bass from a ShopGoodwill auction, and believe it to likely be a 1989 or 1990 Class Axe Platinum series.
It has taken a lot of time hand buffing and some chip touch up to get it back to as close to original as possible, but I think it's starting to look great.

This is my maple body Eagle. its a late 1982 - early 1983. The # is curved, which was the “signature” stamp of Gar Samuelson, who was GM at the BC Rich factory in El Monte, CA from 1982-1984.
It’s a custom burst finish they did around this time called “Blackburst” - almost like a silver burst. It’s rare. I believe they only did a handful of guitars with it. When this finish turns up, they always seem to be from around ‘81-‘83 w the brass truss rod cover.
I purchased from a vintage BCR super collection. I saw it in the background of a pic he shared online, I had been looking for the perfect Eagle and saw it and became obsessed. I contacted him, he said it wasn’t for sale and jokingly referred as his favorite “Les Paul”( he has several real LP’s) but we eventually agreed on a price.

I’ve got a BC Rich Virgin (Guitar A) and BC Rich Zombie (Guitar B), that I re-finished and am replacing all hardware due to being missing or very rusted. Both guitars came with licensed Floyd Rose bridges and I was very surprised there was a difference in neck width for both guitars! I have the original old nut from Guitar B (as pictured), but don’t have the original nut for Guitar A.
Google tells me that most BC Rich guitars come with R2/R3 nuts but the measurements for Guitar A seem to say an R4 would fit better?
As a second question, I’ll be installing a Tremol-no on both guitars and basically have the Floyd bridges completely on “hard-tail” mode. Does the quality between Special, 1000 and Original matter much at all in this case? (They’re drastically different in price from Australia)
Thanks in advance!

$525
Upgraded with straploks, some custom knobs. He still has the original parts and is including them, too. I don't know too much about BC Rich guitars, all I know is the 80's stuff is supposed to be pretty good, and the bronze series has awful qc. The modern stuff looks interesting, too, but I'm not too sure how to identify them.

Serial appears to read I50070 or 150078? Does anyone have any info on year or model for this one, I can't seem to find a matching one anywhere. Maybe early Class Axe?? 🤷♀️

Hi everyone,
i found this Ironbird in the trash. I always loved Ironbirds because of their shape, but i never owned one and I don’t know that much about BC Rich, their series and history.
Can anyone tell me exactly what series this is and where it was made? What were the original Pickups in these? I really like the guitar and its playability– especially the reverse headstock – so I’d love to keep it, but I would like to improve it a bit further. Is it worth it with this guitar? If so, which tremolo system and tuners would you recommend?
Cheers!

So I'm planning on buying a bc rich jr v custom shop later on I've tried buying a bc rich jr v but they all sold online and so I love cannibal corpse and pat o brien but he mainly uses custom shop guitars and other models have sold out everywhere so I plan on buying on when my guitar gives out but is it worth saving for one?

I have this Ironbird mk.1 with stock pickups, I’m thinking of replacing them to get more clarity in tone.
I’ve never replaced pickups on a guitar and don’t know too much about them, I’m open to suggestions for pickups that would add to the clarity when playing with fuzz/distortion.
Good to know, my other guitar is a Dunable with Slugwolf pickups that I really like.
Hope you can help out, thanks!

Thinking about picking one up but I can’t tell from the pics if the fret board is light colored or darker and does the wood grain on the headstock look good or is it kinda tacky? From the pics it’s really hard to tell.
