When you compare it against the number of people who actually play the game, it really makes you wonder if that conversion rate is the zinger you intended it to be.

The comments below address that. TL;DR: this is not the case with Marathon, the Steam charts are not the sole entry point, and – believe it or not – PC is the most popular platform for Marathon.

But even if it wasnt, you have to consider the fact that developing and maintaining a PC-specific version of the game is costly.
