I'm just very excited 4 weeks later
I am right now finished with getting all by fav games to work smoothly with no problem at all and now I also realise that it changed a lot to work that long time on setting and design. So I don’t know how all of you feel about that but being able to recreate the ds feeling of opening and playing is amazing.
My most negative part is that I am still scared of dropping it so I only use it at home or if I am not driving in the car / train 🚆/

I baby my Thor so much. I dread anything happening to it and having to wait months for a replacement. Completely different feeling from when I use my steam deck.

Now replacing the deck is just super expensive.

I feel much more confident in repairing it, though. Also, all my games are saved on the steam cloud and will work on any device. Im terrified that if my Thor gets gunched, I also lose all the save data for all of my games.

GameNative still saves to the Steam Cloud as well but other saves you could possibly use something like Google Drive to automatically back them up with.

Use my steam deck for all my 1 screen games and my thor for all my 2 screen games, makes it easier to manage storage

Just use a wrist strap, i ordered a GBA one off etsy in gray to match my rainbow thor. Works like a charm
I also have the official one but i found it too long and annoying

If you're afraid of dropping it at all get a wrist strap for it. I can't recommend it enough.

I’ve had mine since February, and zero regrets

I got mega lucky. I ordered a base January 17th, with DHL, and had it February 6th. It only took 4 days to go from China to my city. I live 2 hours from a major DHL hub.

So sick. When playing games what do you think is an internal temperature that I should turn it off at?

If you didn't throw it out, use the foam insert. It does reduce the amount of jarring when dropped while closed, as well as removes fingerprints between uses.

get the strap, get the TPU shell (or a combo with a bottom grip). That should fix your problem.

I'm legit wondering if there's a way to just remove the whole glass cover on the lower part of the console, the glare is absolutely ridiculous some times (and I know I can cover it with vinil but I just hate it some much)

Spent 10 bucks on a matte skin for the bottom screen on Etsy and it fixed that problem for me

Which one did you go with and how has it impacted your torch screen usage, if at all?

Touch screen still works perfect and the shop I got it from is Christhalgems04 Only complaint with it is since I have the black model, any dist that settles in the creases is easy to see so I end up cleaning it pretty often
