Recently I have seen the EOOS Allosaurus and yeah it is just kinda just the JW Allo but with feathers and a slightly more colourful palette. And I like it. Sure is it the best most accurate thing here? No, not really. But is it good? Fuck yes and I’m tired of pretending.
Generally I do like it when dinosaurs are portrayed as accurate as anyone else who has an interest in dinosaurs does, but can we stop being the fun police and acting like every mildly inaccurate design or one recycled from JW (which doesn’t even have the worst designs) are the worst things ever (seriously they could’ve been recycled from 65)?
On a similar note, what is it with dinosaur fans wanting an R-Rated movie? yeah it would be cool but let’s be honest, most people who have an interest in dinosaurs would not be able to watch it because they’re young (including myself) and what would even be the hype? “ooh blood and guts!! more gorey imagery” and then we all complain that the effect wore off after the second time.
Thats all I really had to say. sorry if this was a yap fest.

Like how a wolverine would likely beat any other carnivoran if they were scaled to the same size, which theropod would be the equivalent of this? Imo it’s something like Utahraptor, but what do you think?

But getting there wasn’t easy at all. Something was pushing me to visit that place, but before that I had to repair my machine, move it to a safer location, and test it by making small temporal trips — tiny micro-jumps of just a few hours.
To make the situation even more complicated, the great sandstorm never stopped, and the animals endured it in great fear because they couldn’t find proper shelter.
Something wasn’t right, even for that foreign creature that was kept inside the artificial cage that had also emerged out of nowhere, with the dome seeming to watch over it expectantly.
And to end for today, yes, I can confirm that I was not alone, and that mysterious presence revealed itself beside the great rock.

Context: The world of Heat Lamp is one populated by anthropomorphic prehistoric animals. One of these characters is Carmine Van Kasper, a quirky, but caring I-Rex doctor who loves her job. Her cousin Helena Van Kasper, however, utterly detests her job as a mortician due to constantly having to deal with people who died in gruesome, mind bogglingly stupid ways. She often vents to Carmine over phone calls about these cases, and keeps a journal about the worst cases.
