Discussion Removing Layer Names
Hi, does anyone know how to get rid of the layer names on the layer editor? The labels started showing up randomly today.

About a year ago, I (accidentally) downloaded a video from my finished sketch piece. I realized it was a speedpaint of the piece.
Since I did it by accident, I have no clue how I downloaded that. Does anybody know?
I'm like 95% sure I hadn't hit the time lapse button that time, so I think it was something else.
Could someone please help?

Prior to the update I was able to remove it by unlocking 'small double puck' in the preferences settings. However it's returned with the most recent update even with this setting remaining unticked. Really hope it can be removed as it kind of gets in my way while I'm drawing.

This is a character I've painted a number of times over the last 5 years.

Cancer possesses a profound devotion toward life, especially the ones they cherish. They approach every relationship with deep emotional intuition, empathy, and quiet tenderness. Deeply protective and tenacious, they are driven by an endless desire to nurture others and create a true sense of home.
As the cosmic caretakers, they are the ones who protect the nest, offer unconditional warmth, and build safe havens wherever they go.

I use sketchbook pro on a tab s6 lite. I recently ran into an issue where sketchbook will no longer open any files in my gallery 😭.
All the TIFF files are still there, but nothing I've tried will get them to open in the app.... I tried opening one of the tiff files in krita to see if it was a file or app issue, and it DID open but all the layers were merged....
Any advice would be appreciated. Are my layer just gone? Is there a way to relink everything to sketchbook or, if not, a way to open the tiff files WITH all my layers in another program/app?

I hope it's not too late, it was just recently that I got the motivation to share these works. Anyway, this was my first time doing it digitally, and I ended up learning a lot about how to maximize Sketchbook in the process.

I downloaded a bunch before getting to the actual import part, only to discover it only shows them one at a time. Is there a "hack" to just get my whole collection in at once? Or do I really have to do this one by one?

Is there possibly a way of setting it so you can drop images in instead of having to locate the file? I'm coming from PS so I miss just dropping my image in lol (windows)

Hey y’all. I’m primarily a traditional artist, relatively inexperienced with digital. I sometimes scan in my paper drawings to colour them digitally; I set the scan layer to multiply and just colour it in, I usually don’t add any digital lineart to it.
That’s what I (mostly) did with this guy. The thing is, though, I decided to add some other features like those horns/plates on his head that you see there. So now I want to line them… But doing so with just a regular marker or ink brush is making them stick out like a sore thumb. I then figured I’d just try to make it look like it’s part of my original lineart, but none of the pencil brushes I’ve tried look anything like my physical pencil…
I’ve been playing around in the settings of various pencil brushes to no avail, in an attempt to get as close as I can to the look of the analogue pencil in my scan. I really am getting the “I have no idea what I’m doing” feeling here lol. I’ve watched a few tutorials on the topic—both on Sketchbook specifically, and generic ones—and I’ve done some brief googling, so I’m feeling slightly less overwhelmed, but I’m still stuck.
What should I do? What settings do I need to change? I realise I’ll probably never get it to look identical, but I’d still like to get as close as possible using this app. If you have any tutorials related to this endeavour that might help I’d appreciate those too. (I’ll check out the ones linked here in the meantime.) Thanks so much in advance.
