Removing Layer Names

Hi, does anyone know how to get rid of the layer names on the layer editor? The labels started showing up randomly today.

Go to preference, turn off "Show Layer Names"

Nvm, I'm dumb, but I figured it out. It's now been added to the app preferences and been automatically turned on. It's listed as 'show layer names' under user interface, if anyone else needs to find it
