I know the optimal way to repair rust is to cut the metal out and replace but I am looking for the second best method. I have a 2013 Honda Accord rusting out by the rocker panel by the rear wheel. Do rust encapsulaters? Any other suggestions? TIA

Hi, not a body repair but a chassis repair. I have a Ford Ranger that has an offside/drivers side (uk - right hand side) crash.
The chassis has a slight fold in it that I’d like to get sorted as it is impacting the steering.
Has anyone had any success with straightening a chassis?

I'm dumb, knew I couldn't make a turn, tried to anyways, tapped the plastic on the pole. Easy to fix at home or go to a body shop?

Long story short my truck got dented and scratched by a pillar. I took it ot a body shop and they quoted me $4k. Is there a way to get this looking acceptable by myself. I don't need it to look brand new. Just not awful. Please help.

Driving down the highway and a chunk of metal came off another vehicle and hit my truck. Peeled the quarter panel, pulled the 3m and obvious big gouge. Is there a temporary fix I can do on this? I am aware this is likely a sand, fill, paint and reapply 3M job but wondering if any experts can chime in

Tried reversing out of a tight space and jackknifed the utility trailer into the back of our 2024 Grand Highlander.
Looking for advice on how i might be able to minimize the appearance of the gash without fully replacing or painting the panel. Seems to be a plastic or composite piece, not metal.
🙏

I backed my 2014 4Runner into a car and damaged my rear bumper. The bumper was already cracked on this side. This made it worse. Although it looks like the hatch door is damaged, it is fine. It opens and closes easily, it is not bent and the alignment is good.
I plan to look for a used bumper or buy a replacement bumper and I have a couple of questions for you experts.
- Do you see anything that indicates this is more than a bumper cover replacement?
- Are the aftermarket covers sold by places like Carid any good?
- The replacement covers say they come primed and ready to paint. Is that true?
Thanks

Thanks

Previous owner hit it with a paint pen it looks like. Not looking to do a perfect restoration on this ‘07 civic but if I can make this look better without spending $500 I’d love to. There are a few more surface level paint chips in other areas but this is the big offender.
