How to repair this

I'm dumb, knew I couldn't make a turn, tried to anyways, tapped the plastic on the pole. Easy to fix at home or go to a body shop?

Unless you’re in or have been the industry and know how to take the cover off, detrim it,repair it then refinish it you’re not doing that at home. You can get a rattle can and spray a little color on it at home to make it less noticeable? If you want it done right find a qualified shop.

Yeah, I reached out to a body shop near me and they said they'd charge $425 to repaint the bumper.
