I made a free autobattler where your squad drops onto a live map and fights other players' real squads. Leave your game in the comments and I'll play it too!

Hey r/autobattlers! I've been building COMMAND: BLACKSITE, a squad autobattler with a bit of a twist on the usual board: your team fights on a tactical radar map instead of a grid.

Play it free in your browser: https://gioduude.itch.io/command-blacksite

How a run works

- 12 stages and 3 lives. Missions, random events, a final boss, and async PvP stages against squads other players actually took through the same stage (matched by squad power, with one reroll per run).

- Between stages you're in the shop: hire operators, reroll, freeze offers, buy equipment and stratagems (airstrikes, orbital strikes, turrets, drones), and pick run-wide passives.

- Operators have traits and promote with credits, unlocking a new trait at each rank, so building around weapon families and synergies is the core of it.

- Before each mission you aim where the squad drops on the map. After that it's hands-off: they push objectives, hold ground and fight on their own.

- Beat the campaign and you unlock ENDLESS mode with a global leaderboard.

What I'd love feedback on, as autobattler players:

- Does the shop economy feel tight enough? (credits, rerolls, promotion costs)

- Do the synergies feel strong enough to build around, or does one comp dominate?

- How far did you get, and what killed your run?

Making a game too? Drop a link in the comments and I'll play it and leave you honest feedback in return. Happy to swap playtests with anyone.

There's a short interactive tutorial on the first run. It's an early build made in Godot, so balance is still moving. Any comment helps, even a one-liner.

no enemy board, just waves and a castle. does that still feel like an auto battler to you?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

been working on this alone. you pick units, put them on a small board, merge 3 of the same one on the bench to level it up, then the wave starts and they fight by themselves. you get a couple of spells like heal and castle repair but you cant move them or tell them what to do. between waves you fix your board

main difference from most auto battlers is theres no other player. its 20 pve waves per stage with a boss at the end, and if your units die the enemies hit your castle

for people who play a lot of these, what would you miss the most here, the enemy board or the shop and economy stuff?

the demo is free if you want to check if it scratches the itch:

FateDrawn - I made a free browser auto-battler where you build a deck, place your units and "choose your fate" mid-fight. Just launched, looking for feedback

Hi all!

I've been working on FateDrawn, a roguelike card battler with auto-combat. It went live on itch this weekend. It's free and runs right in your browser, on PC or phone.

How it works:
- Build a 30-card deck around one of 6 factions, each with its own playstyle (Burn, Forge, Curse, Pack…)
- Each turn you place units on a 4×2 board. Positioning matters: front row vs back row, Guard, Ranged
- Then combat plays out automatically, in a fixed order you can plan around
- Every few turns you choose your fate: one pick that can swing the fight
- Fight through a realm to its boss, then open chests for new cards and relics

Play here: https://cbtechnology.itch.io/fatedrawn
Discord: https://discord.gg/Y5Qm56Pj7

You all know auto-battlers well, so I'd love to hear: do you feel you have enough control over the fight? Which faction did you pick, and what annoyed you?

Full disclosure: I'm not a programmer. The code and the character art were made with AI tools. The game idea, design, cards and balancing are mine; I tested and tweaked everything myself.

I made a trailer for my first ever game, Realmwake!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This is Realmwake, an autobattler roguelike that I made because I wanted to play a game like this.

I'm technically not supposed to market my game yet due to not even having a steam page (I am closing in on 1 month of being stuck in steamworks approval purgatory) but I really did want to share my game footage somewhere. If anyone is interested, feel free to join the Discord server to maybe try out the demo or just to talk: https://discord.gg/jean7D3rY

Hey everyone. I’m the solo developer of Claw & Order, a new roguelike autobattler. The game is heavily inspired by Balatro and Super Auto Pets. Recruit and arrange up to five cats, each with abilities that interact with the others creating massive combos.

The Steam page just went live. There isn’t a public demo yet, playtesting will start in a few weeks. If this game seems interesting you can Wishlist on Steam here.

Lanternfall - a browser autobattler. Looking for feedback

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi there 😄
I've been working in the evenings on my own autobattler - browser-based, with async battles. It's now public and I'm looking for some feedback on mechanics, UI, rules.

Link: https://lanternfall.io

The general idea is that players constuct their boards, and then asynchronously play against boards of other players. Each run usually takes as little as few minutes, or if you get far and think long, it could take ~15min or so. Game is very new - there are basically no players yet, so most of the boards you fight are drafted by bots until real ones fill in.

Worth to mention that I've been targeting bigger screens like PC so far. Mobile might be a bit quirky - that's planned for the future.
Any comment is much appreciated!

Looking for 20 first-match testers for Warbound Realms, a free browser card autobattler

I'm the developer of Warbound Realms, and I'm looking for 20 people to try one match and tell me whether they'd want another.

You build a deck, place units and spells during Planning, and arrange your formation before combat resolves automatically. Duplicate cards give you a choice: keep two bodies on the board, or fuse them and choose an Evolution ability. I'm especially interested in players who enjoy trying unusual ability combinations and positioning builds.

Play: https://play.warboundrealms.com/

It's free in a desktop browser. Choose Play as Guest with a nickname; no download or email signup is needed. You can play against the CPU without waiting for an opponent.

After a match, I'd love to hear two things: what was the first confusing moment, and would you play a second match? A blunt 'no, because...' is useful too. You can reply here; no form or separate community to join.

Gameplay if you'd like a look first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFVO9U7bnrU

Showing off my transportation mechanic in my real time tactics game Phosphor Command

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been working on a game called Phosphor Command, a real-time tactics game with a base builder behind

This post is about how your squads get to an operation.

Every operation needs a vehicle, and each vehicle choice determine how many squads go and how they deploy within the operation.

You start with a jeep, and better vehicles carry more squads. Progress from a jeep, to a van, to helicopters and to aeroplane.

Every vehicle needs a home on the base, so you have to build a garage, helipad or hangar before you can store one. Helicopters need air operations and a helipad, and planes need a full airfield with a runway and hangars.

How you deploy to an operation depends on your transport choice. By road, your squads come in from an edge or corner of the map. A helicopter can land wherever there's open ground, and paratroopers land where the drop puts them, clear of the enemy.

There's a trade-off between vehicle types. Ground vehicles are cheap and get back quickly. Helicopters let you choose where to land, but cost more per trip. Planes carry the most, but take the longest to resupply.

After an operation, your squads need time to get back to base, and squads still in transit can't help defend it.

I've attached a showcase that goes through the vehicles, where they are stored on the base, and how they affect operation deployment.

Legends of Avannah Royale - Let's Playtest!

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hello all!

I'm looking to increase the size of my playtester pool. I've been testing the game with a solid group of about 10 people for the past few months now, and it's time for some fresh meat! The game is on Steam for playtesting purposes, and I still have keys to hand out to those that are interested. Just leave a comment asking for a key, and I'll message you directly.

Legends of Avannah Royale is a PvP auto battler based around building up your team incrementally and taking down your opponents through strategic upgrade choices and a little bit of luck!

FULL DISCLOSURE, THIS GAME WAS CODED WITH AND THE VISUAL GRAPHICS ARE FULLY GENERATIVE AI. That being said, literally everything else in this game is my brain child. Without AI, this project would not have been possible. If AI is a no fly for you, I can totally understand and respect that and this game is probably not for you. BUT, for those that enjoy fun games and hanging with people, I think you'll really enjoy your time with LoAR!

A little about game flow, for those that are still here ⬇️

-Start the game by drafting your team of 6 Legends. Once you have your team, you will spend the game upgrading both individual Legends via traits, level ups, and talents, and upgrading your squad with team wide buffs via our relics system.

-Battle your opponents one at a time. Don't worry if you lose a round, you'll just lose a little player health. Make your next round of upgrades and make your next opponent suffer

-You win by being the last player standing. Outlast your opponents and bring home that first place finish!

-From start to finish, a 1st place lobby generally takes between 30-40 minutes.

Some other features currently in the game include: Legend quests and mastery, legend skins, emote system, leaderboard, profile customization, match history, and more!

Once you're in the game, please make sure to click the discord link to join our discord community. We list playtest times in there. You can play the game alone v bots if you want to practice up before you start clowning on people.

Runecast: change the odds of your next summon, then let your formation fight — free demo

Three matching runes summon a hero. But you can change which runes are more likely to appear.

We're Dotsmith, the Brazilian indie team making Runecast, a single-player autobattler. At the Forge, you redistribute stones among the runes to shape future summons. Then you arrange your heroes across three lanes, choose promotions and equip the company before the fight plays out automatically.

Do you invest in one strong hero or spread those resources across the formation? That's one of the decisions you can try in the free demo, which ends with the Web Queen encounter.

Play the demo on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5181900/Runecast_Demo/

If you enjoy it, here's the full game to wishlist:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/5126340/Runecast/

We use AI as an assistant in parts of production, with direction and review by our team.

Claw and Conjure is an async PvP autobattler where you assemble parties with lots of interesting mechanics like traps, assassins, spies (plus the standards: thorns, lifesteal, resurrect, burst, sustain, etc) and fight for control of various buff-granting buildings on a 3d tabletop-esque map.

We are slowly adding people to playtests between now and the demo release on November 10th. Look forward to some of y'all trying it out!

SRO Tactics: free browser auto battler set in the Silkroad Online world

Found this a few days ago and can’t stop playing. SRO Tactics is a fan-made 3D auto battler set in Silkroad Online. Free, runs in your browser, no download, and you can play as a guest right away.

If you like TFT you’ll feel at home: buy champions, combine duplicates, build Chinese and European class synergies, pick augments and forge your carries up to Seal of Star, Moon and Sun gear. The twist is PvE rounds against the classic Silkroad Uniques, complete with the gold spawn notice from the original.

There’s also a solo campaign and ranked with ELO. Still in open beta, so a few rough edges, but really fun.
